Shannon and company have put together my ideal wine bar. The selections— Ever evolving, classic styles to low intervention, as long as it is in service to the grape juice, that’s what you’ll find.

Garagiste Wine Room & Merchant is known for its good wine and great value happy hour. It boasts an impressive wine collection, making it a perfect place for wine enthusiasts. The service has been described as somewhat odd, with servers spending a lot of time on their laptops and seemingly favoring certain customers. However, it has been praised for its unique vino experience and laid-back atmosphere. The staff, including Eric, Taylor, and Brett, are commended for their exceptional accommodations, particularly for special events. Customers enjoy the 3 cheese 2 meat charcuterie, which is very tasty, and often appreciate the wine flights, especially the white wine flight that includes wines from Greece, Germany, and the United States. The Donnhoff from Germany has been a favorite, and the place offers a sweet membership for wine lovers, with four wines each month for $199 plus tax. Overall, Garagiste is a fun spot that makes many happy at 3 pm and provides a delightful exploration of handcrafted wines with minimal interference. The wine selection is always rotating, and customers often find new favorites or buy bottles to go. The location is just off Main Street in the Arts District, offering a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere. The knowledgeable sommelier team provides great recommendations and fair prices, and private event spaces and tastings are available. Many guests enjoy sitting outside to watch people while talking about life, making it a simple but excellent choice for wine lovers.
