This place was amazing with great customer service! The kapoon was satisfying. It has a rich coconut taste just like how I like it. The mok pa salmon with sticky rice was a 10/10. Morning glory with pork belly was delicious. My new go to place!
Consistently inconsistent. While we're regulars at Lao Kitchen, recent visits with a large group showcased a mixed bag of culinary experiences. Nam khao lacked its usual crispiness, and the tiger steak, though seasoned well, proved challenging to chew. The fried pork belly was disappointingly dry, while the fried intestines, though flavorful, carried a hint of gaminess, suggesting inadequate cleaning. Authenticity is where it's at here. I felt like mama and the aunties were cookin in the back for me! I've had a lot of Lao and Thai food, and find that I rarely like it as much as my own cooking. This place is legit and does not Americanize their dishes. And it is truly Lao, not erring on the side of Thai like most restaurants. Food is FRESH, full of FLAVOR. Do yourself a favor and stop in for some amazing food and eats.
