Makai Island Grill is a Hawaiian restaurant that offers fresh and flavorful poke, along with delicious options such as Chicken Katsu, Teriyaki chicken, and Macaroni salad. The staff are friendly and helpful, and customers can build their own platters and enjoy generous servings at reasonable prices. The location is convenient, although parking can be challenging due to its proximity to a nearby In-and-Out. Customers have praised the fresh and savory Chicken Katsu, the great presentation of the salads, and the outstanding service provided by the staff. While some customers were disappointed by the lack of Loco Moco on the menu, they still found the overall dining experience to be good. The restaurant is a great spot for a Hawaiian dining experience, with the option to customize your meal and enjoy generous portions.
