Went there yesterday looking for something new. It was about 4pm and the place was rather empty, but it was a welcoming atmosphere.

Amongst our group we ordered the gumbo with shrimp, the fish dinner, the ribs and wings combo plate, the pulled pork sandwich meal and a kids waffle plate. When I tell you we were pleasantly surprised! My goodness!! The flavor in that gumbo was ! The fish was fried to perfection! The greens, wings, ribs, and waffle were also phenomenal!

Catfish filet done well. Mac and cheese tastes like home. Collard greens had me looking for my cousin in the kitchen. Fried rice was on point also. Will definitely eat here again!

I come here at least twice a month! My favorites are the shrimp & bacon grits and the catfish dinner with Mac and garlic rice! The kids always get chicken and waffles without question!
