I eat here probably 3 times a month. I have tried many items on the menu and all of them have been fantastic. My go-to was usually chips and salsa and some carne asada tacos. However, I started trying new things, enchiladas, chicken taquitos, and now my favorite is the chili rellenos. So far, I haven't made a wrong choice. Couple the food with good people operating the business and you have a place that will be on your favorites list

Another absolutely delicious meal!! We shared a carnitas burrito, I had a very tasty margarita and my husband enjoyed bottle of tamarind soda. Service was great and the price was right! Highly recommend this authentic Mexican cuisine! I can't wait to try the chille relleno next!!! ❤️

This is such a good spot- the food is delicious we have nothing like this on East Side. Every aspect of their foods has thought and purpose.

Last time I tried a Cali Burrito- the fries were perfectly crisp INSIDE the burrito- any other spot I’ve been too doesn’t care about stuff like that. This time I got fish tacos- delicious. Perfect amount of guac. Green sauce is delicious and perfect in every way- spice quantity, and flavor. Horchata is delicious. For the price- this place exceeds all of my expectations. This is MILPAS level good but half the price, this is a go to anytime I’m craving Mexican food in the area

Great ma and pa shop with excellent service and delicious homemade food. Stopped by here on my way out of town and grabbed tacos and a burrito for the road later. Definitely worth trying out and bonus that it’s a local family owned restaurant.

I’m I’m being honest, the food was less than mediocre at best. I got takeout and ordered the Quesabirria but was given what looked like tacos with Birria meat inside; there was very little cheese, no char like most Quesabirria have. Just a half warmed flour tortilla with meat inside; very underwhelming. I also ordered a carne asada taco and that was horrible! The asada was cold and tasted old. They put some kid of red sauce on the taco and it tasted really bad and I’m not sure what kind of sauce it was. I also ordered rice and beans as well. The rice was undercooked and bland and the beans were about a 4/10 compared to other refried beans I’ve had. I ordered here because it was located close to my house and I specifically wanted a Quesabirria but after this experience I definitely will NOT be going back and STRONGLY recommend that if you want Birria - DO NOT order it from here! Definitely did not get my money’s worth!

Margaritas are great. Chile rellenos are bathed in a delicious tomato and garlic sauce that was perfectly seasoned. Great value. Took half of everything I ordered home. Service was friendly. My only concern is that it is empty. Sunday afternoon. If you’re shopping/ picking up at Smiths carve out a little time to treat yourself. It’s worth a visit.

As a Mexican, I can genuinely say this is authentic Mexican food. The food is very delicious, you can tell it was made with love. The aesthetic of the restaurant is very Mexican as well as the music. Clean place and great service. 10/10
