Located inside the Sahara Casino Hotel near the front entrance, this Starbucks Coffee Company offers free parking and is open Sun-Thurs 4am-5pm, Fri and Sat 4am-8pm. Priced higher than non-hotel Starbucks locations, a Grande Pike is $4.85 and a Grande black iced tea is $5.95, but they offer $1 Trenta (any size) refillable cups of water with free refills. The staff can take Starbucks app rewards money but cannot take physically gift cards. The dark roast is very good, and they never skimp on filling cups to the top. Service is consistently great, with friendly staff who have high emotional IQs, seem cheerful, and sometimes deliver drinks to the table. The line moves very fast during busy periods, with no more than a 5-minute wait. The baristas are top notch and patient with customers, even when hurried tourists get rude. For a work or study space, it is decent with Sahara Guest Wi-Fi, plenty of seating including wider handicap tables and a quiet semi-hidden bar top area. Outlets are accessible under seats, noise levels are similar to most Starbucks with lively pop/edm music, and restrooms are close by. The atmosphere has potential due to beautiful design, but is often ruined by people playing media on phone speakers. They also refill reusable water bottles with ice and water for free.
