We showed up in the evening. And we were inside the OYO hotel. Which was the old hooters... Anywho... It look like it was closed bcuz there was maybe 2 or 3 tables being occupied... So we walked in a lil further and seen workers in the back kitchen and a host walking towards us... So we order our food which we both got the same thing which was a #6 double BarBQ bacon burger. Mmmmmm tasty. It was a combo too. ☺️ Except I didn't want onion ring in mine. Meaning no onions...

Steak ‘n Shake has been a childhood favorite of mine for as long as I can remember, and I finally went back for the first time in decades and wow, it did not disappoint!

The flavors instantly brought me back to my younger years, and the new beef tallow fries alone were worth the wait to return. Crispy, flavorful, and absolutely perfect with their classic burgers and shakes.

It’s rare to revisit a place from your childhood and have it live...

Food was fresh, hot and good. Went in for dinner one evening then back in for lunch the next day. When I went for lunch I was told they do not take cash. What...really...I just paid cash the night before. They even opened the register and gave me change back the night before, so they do take cash. Just be aware maybe they do maybe they don't.
