Food: My family didn't order appetizers, so we waited a long time for drinks. The food arrived shortly after, but was lukewarm and lacked flavor. I have had way better southern cuisine in the southeast than what Nellie's has to offer. I know this location is in Las Vegas and the MGM Grand Hotel but the bougie shrimp and grits that I had weren't worth the price they're charging at all. Four large shrimp and three grit cake triangles in a cream-based sauce aren't true shrimp and grit cakes at all. I've had way better versions for less that offered more. Hosted a happy hour for 15 at Nellie's and couldnt be happier. From the initial booking to the execution was perfect. Location in MGM was perfect. Venue was nice and we had a good semi-private space. Food and beverage was at the appropriate level. Service was IMPECCABLE. Everyone from the manager, to the chef, to the waiter that bent over backwards to make sure everything was glitch free from the moment we arrived until we left.
