I have been going to The Habit since it's original location in Goleta, CA for 40 years, and the original was Hamburger Habit. While the quality of the chain is not as good as the original, their food is still good and reminds me of the original. Their prices are getting a little ridiculous and now their service is lacking as well. During my last visit I wanted to swap avocado for Bacon on the Santa Barbara Burger. Food is always great but the service here is definitely spot on! I have been here twice this past week and both times they were friendly and helpful as I am not one to do the ordering on the computer screen.

First time there. Ordered their regular Char Burger. Very good service good and good view of the prep/cooking area. Burger was excellent. Went back the next day and tried their double w out mayonnaise. Excellent as well. Also, they have peppers next to fountain drinks to add if you like. I do have to try their Shakes and onion rings as well.
