If you’re seeking an unforgettable dining experience in Las Vegas, Tom Colicchio’s Craftsteak at the MGM Grand is a must-visit. While the restaurant’s culinary offerings are exceptional, it’s the impeccable service that truly sets it apart. In particular, Marvin, one of the standout servers, has garnered praise for his outstanding hospitality and serving skills. Marvin’s dedication to providing top-notch service has not gone unnoticed. His attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism contributed significantly to the overall dining experience, ensuring that each guest felt valued and well-cared for.
We let the server know we had about 1 hour 45 minutes to order and eat (had a show). He assured us it would be fine. We ordered promptly and got our appetizers right away. The rest of the food came with 20 minutes left to enjoy. Which at 199 and 155 per steak was very upsetting. We couldn’t even enjoy the food properly.
Then he brings out a pear dessert which looked amazing but I’m highly allergic to pears. I told him and he just left it sitting on our table. Never asked for allergies.
Offered 20% off the check which was honestly not the answer. Very bummed on this experience.
The steak very good but the fish not good. The staffs are exceptionally good, time to wait for food long.
Small portions, good food. Charming atmosphere and staff. Impeccable and attentive service.
We got there at 5. Perfect booth in back, quiet. By the time we left the placed had filled up. I had been here about 15 years ago, was an outstanding experience then. Glad to say it was an absolutely wonderful dinner experience this time as well. Went with my sister, and older nephew. He is a Tom Colicchio fan. Started with the Caesar salad. Excellent. We all shared the skirt steak, the Aligot potatoes, the Broccoli di Ciccio. All excellent. And the artichokes , which were our least favourite item. Had the monkey bread for dessert. Loved it! Will be back again.
Excellent food and service!!!!
This was undoubtedly a nice restaurant, and the food we had was very good. I would strongly suggest making this dinner reservation on a day that is not your travel day. For us flying in from two time zones away very early and pushing through the whole day, we could not enjoy this restaurant to our best abilities. Prices are quite high, we spent $100 on a cocktail, soft drink, salad, and soup. Yes we knew prices were high, but if we had the ability to enjoy this restaurant to its full potential I was prepared to spend way more. The staff was super nice and thank god for our server letting us know about the monorail. I could hug her for hours. I do look forward to going back when the time is right!
Incredible service and outstanding food. 10 of us dined there and we could not be more satisfied. Every dish was excellent.
Lobster bisque, mashed potatoes and cheesecake were 3 of the best things I have ever eaten. The steak was excellent as well. I will return and order these same items again over and over for as long as this restaurant exists, regardless of prices.
!!! Woah !!! How did yall make the Maui onion ? Give me the recipe ! Great steak too😂

That was the best steak dinner I’ve ever had! And the servers felt like family. Makes staying at this hotel worth it.
Our go to place any time we're in Vegas. The dining room experience is incredible, and if you decide to have a drink or dine at the bar you're always given attentive and friendly service. Easily the best steak I've ever had.
The service from Mario and his team was phenomenal. The food was ok. A member of our party commented they had better steak at the Delmonico chain restaurant. The parkerhouse rolls tasted freshly made but nothing special. The value of the food taste vs price was not worth it. So disappointing as we've been watching Tom on Top Chef since the beginning and this was our first time experiencing his restaurant. The Panna cotta was delicious however, the menu stated it was with peaches, which is why we ordered it, but came with pears and no explanation of the change.
A large party contributed to significant noise this time around, but this is our go-to in Vegas and will continue to be.
Thanks to Kyle (and Chad for steering us here). We had an AMAZING dinner. Food was excellent. Steak so tender. And be sure to leave room for desert.
Wait staff very attentive and knowledgeable.
Best meal of our trip!
