“Last weekend, I took my husband to Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace to celebrate his birthday, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. It was our first visit, and from the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless and refined.

We were greeted warmly by the hostess, who had a lovely smile and the perfect blend of professionalism and genuine hospitality. She escorted us straight to our table, and right away, we noticed the thoughtful layout of the dining room. The tables are spaced generously apart, creating a sense of intimacy and exclusivity — something many fine dining restaurants often overlook. The décor is understated, minimalist even, but that’s intentional. Here, the spotlight is entirely on the food.

Before our meal began, we were offered a small carrot and ginger palate cleanser — a refreshing and unexpected touch that set the tone beautifully. We decided to go with the à la carte menu so we could each experience something different.

I started with the seasonal risotto, recommended by our waiter, and I have to say, it was spectacular. Being English-Italian, I’ve always believed no one could beat my father’s risotto — but this one might have just done it. The texture was creamy yet light, and the flavor balance was perfection. My husband chose the artichoke and black truffle soup, which he declared as one of the best soups he’s ever had.

For our mains, I ordered the pork, while my husband went for the steak and lobster. Both were flawlessly cooked, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the sommelier’s wine pairing. His recommendations were so spot-on that I ended up ordering a full glass of one of his suggestions after dinner.

Dessert was another highlight — I chose the chocolate fondant, while my husband had the Coconut Six Ways, both decadent yet refined. And just when we thought we couldn’t eat another bite, the dessert trolley rolled by — a visual feast and a true ode to French indulgence.

Don’t underestimate the portions here. You might expect tiny, delicate plates typical of French cuisine, but at Guy Savoy, the portions are satisfying and generous. As Chef Savoy himself believes — fine dining should be about pleasure, not restraint — and that’s exactly how it felt.

As a Las Vegas local who’s dined at some of the city’s best restaurants, I can confidently say that Guy Savoy is easily in my top two dining experiences in Vegas. Every detail, from service to flavor, was executed flawlessly. If you’re looking for a world-class culinary experience that truly celebrates French cuisine, this is the place to go.

“It's a lovely open format restaurant. Feels spacious and is still cozy. Easy to find and get to. We'd read a bit about the menu and that helped us order, as did our server. The crab cake is large and shareable for two. Loaded with sweet delicious flakey crab. Excellent! The short rib was rich and flavorful and cooked perfectly, I cut it with a fork. My husband's tenderloin was also cooked to order and came with a rich house peppercorn sauce. We shared the miso mushrooms. The best mushrooms either of us have tasted. Huge serving. I must not forget the beautiful croissant like rolls that we started with. They were warm and buttery with a hint of garlic. We peeled off delicate little bites, before we knew it, we'd eaten every morsel!“

“Amazing experience for a holiday banquet in the private dining room! David and Daniela were our servers and they were engaging, efficient, and always made sure we had what we needed. The entire meal, including appetizers, salads, main courses, and desserts were plentiful and delicious. The coffee drinks with dessert were a nice compliment. Don't forget to park in the garage off Fashion Show Drive and Las Vegas Blvd; there is a special elevator behind the valet section, in the front corner of the garage, that goes up to the the restaurants, including Capital Grille on the 3rd floor.“

Evelyn greeted us and served us, she answered and helped any inquires on the menu.
The atmosphere is cute, cozy and calming.
Everything about the service and food was spectacular.
Junior came around and asked us questions and suggested items on the menu.
The bread and butter was yummy, I had vodka sauce angel hair spaghetti, sparkling white Moscato and Panna Cotta for dessert. I would definitely recommend if anyone loves Italian food to come here!! I'm craving them again already 🍝 🤤

“the Cucumber Martini was great!! but the Penne Alla Vodka was a huge disappointment :/ the menu described this dish as having Prosciutto & Asparagus the Prosciutto was in tiny bacon-bits size pieces, tasteless and you had to really search for them :( the Asparagus was only the stems cut into 1mm size pieces and as rough and tasteless as cardboard to chew =o the dish contained NOT ONE Asparagus tip; really was so very disappointed!! the location and ambience were lovely altho I did tire of the waiter constantly trying to upsell us …. which none of us fell for ….“

“This is a nice little place! They have about 10 booths and about four or five family tables. The menu is extensive, with plenty of choices for everybody. They have daily lunch specials during the week. They only serve sodas in cans, no soda fountain or refills. Good service, and the food came fast and was all freshly made for us. The sizzling Seafood platter was excellent, you can hear it sizzle in my video. The salt and pepper shrimp was very tasty. The steamed flounder was excellent! We showed up at dinner time, and were told they were out of roasted duck. We were offered spring rolls before dinner, which were delicious. Nice clean interior, lightly decorated.“

“I've been to the other Oyster Bar locations located at Station Casinos. This location is ok. Service was good but, the person cooking in the front needs to be more pleasant or at least smile at the patrons. She had a sour face.

We ordered the Red Rock Pan Roast with extra rice. The pan roast tasted really good. I enjoyed the sausage and shrimp along with the other items in the dish. My friends enjoyed the oysters but said it was a bit big.

“Normally tend to stay away from places that are under 4 stars but we were starving and only place we could get a spot at the bar. It wasnt as bad as we had expected. Got the aranicci balls and fettuccine alfredo. Unfortunately the pasta had absolutely no flavor but it was atleast edible.“

“Booked to celebrate two special family birthdays whilst in Vegas. We were aware it would be eye-wateringly expensive when we booked, but a one off experience. When booking, requested a table out in the patio because of our special occasion. We were well looked after by two members of staff and forewarned that side dishes would feed more than one person. The wine list was more expensive than suited us, so ordered cocktails. Lobster cob salad for two was lovely, plenty of lobster. French onion soup was amazing. Granddaughter’s starter arrived within a clear cupboard which gave us a surprise, something which will be a memory none of us will ever forget. The steaks were sumptuous. Being on the patio with the fountains going off on a regular basis was superb. Grandma will be regaling people anyone and everyone with our experience. \nNow we just have to go out and get a small mortgage to cover the bill.“

“Here is my experience after staying at NYNY for over 20 years. We had a wonderful dinner and experience at Il Fornaio after a very horrible and embarrassing experience at Gallagher’s. Our dinner at Il Fornaio was exceptional. The staff was wonderful and made our last night one to remember forever. We will continue to stay at NYNY and eat at Il Fornaio every time we visit. Please go here and not Gallagher’s! My review of Gallagher’s follows. It sure was buzzing with excitement on March 1st…. We went to Gallagher’s on March 1st, our last night after a weeklong stay in Vegas. We always stay at NYNY while in Vegas and have stayed there for over 20 years. We go to Gallagher’s at least once every time we are there. We have always had excellent service and an incredible meal. This time was different, however. My husband ordered a $200 bottle of wine at the bar. When our table was ready we followed the hostess. Our bottle of wine was not delivered to our table, which it always is no matter what restaurant we are in. My husband then had to go back to the bar to retrieve it. Other patrons had sat at his seat and the bottle had been moved. He had to reach through the customers and carry it through the restaurant to our table. When the waiter came to the table to ask how we were he replied “Not great. I’m very disappointed that I had to go back to the bar and then walk through the restaurant carrying my bottle of wine. I feel this is very unprofessional”. The waiter then asked if we needed more glasses. My husband again explained his displeasure. Another server came and again asked if we needed more wine glasses. My husband again explained himself. At this point the manager (I wish I’d gotten his name) came over and said he would not be serving us and we could leave on our own or he would call security. My husband tried to explain the situation and the manager cut my husband off mid sentence and said he wasn’t going to discuss it any further and he wouldn’t tolerate his servers being harassed. My husband kept his composure, and never said anything harassing to the servers. On a side note, my husband had a stroke several years ago which has left him with a speech impediment. I suspect the servers and manager thought he was drunk, but would not let any of us (6 people in total) explain the situation. At this point I left and went to security to explain the situation. Security made a phone call and said he had been escorted out, but everything was fine and recommended we not go there again. We ended up having an excellent meal at Il Fornaio, which I highly recommend. We have sent a letter to the concierge at NYNY. This was very embarrassing and completely unnecessary. If you go there, don’t complain about anything or you will be tossed out.“
