We were stranded in the area because of a snowstorm and stumbled upon this cafe. Small restaurant but the hostility was unmatched and lovely staff. The breakfast was very delicious.
My wife had an appointment today in Minden and after we wanted some breakfast but not fast food, so I found the Cowboy Cafe on Google maps and decided to try it. It's a really nice with old fashioned Cowboy decor which we thought was cool and very organized and clean. Our server was pleasant and always available, the breakfast was amazing and the price point was about what you would expect. The name says it all, a cowboy theme café with a warm and inviting atmosphere. A home away from home kind of feeling. Only open till 2pm. Menu served breakfast and lunch with decent size portions. A must try when passing through town
