This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in the valley. The food is always delicious, when I am sick their chicken tortilla soup is my go to, to-go order. Margaritas are perfect. We leave full and happy and left overs for lunch the next day 😊
It was my first time coming here yesterday. And let me tell you the tacos and torta are so amazing it’s like I was in Sinaloa again! Amazing, hopefully one day I can go back when I visit. And they also gave me a dessert that was a cute gesture.
Amazing food and service!! The free dessert at dinner time was also great. Good drinks and big portions !

La Hacienda Del Sazon is a family run restaurant in Minden and Gardnerville. The family are very friendly and helpful, and the people make you feel welcome. The menu has a variety of appetizers, salads and main dishes. The Chile Verde is really quite nice, with good portions, tender pork, and a nice, warm, mildly spicy flavor. The tamales and enchiladas are homemade and well-done. The shrimp salad was the best ever, just loaded with shrimp. The street taco combination plate with shredded beef may be the best ever had. The torta was perfection, and the Mexican tacos and ceviche tostadas were sublime. The 3 enchilada combo and Cadillac margaritas are also pictured. The combination plate was the size of a large pizza pan. The atmosphere is light, clean and comfortable, with a quaint patio overlooking the mountains and valley. The owners take great pride in the restaurant; the husband personally cooks everything. Great service every time, with hot chips and never empty water. This hole in the wall is the best in Gardnerville and an absolutely wonderful dining experience.
