As a newly relocated resident near Minden my wife and I were looking for a local Mexican restaurant that's comparable to back home (San Diego), Fransisco's out did themselves and we will definitely make this our new spot!

I took my Mom here for a nice Mothers Day lunch. The owner/ server must have been having a rough day. He would not accommodate my elderly Mom’s request for lunch and was rude about it. We ended up having to pay a large amount for her simple side request. Additionally, when serving our food, it was more like throwing our plates in front of us. I will not get back. I came to take my Mother out for a special lunch and was unimpressed with how we were treated.

We’re always searching for the best Mexican restaurant and after trying a few in the area I think we found it! Great food, tasty margaritas and speedy friendly service. Very authentic and affordable and we will definitely return soon. I highly recommend Francisco’s. We had the shrimp enchilada and chile verde.

This was worst Mexican food I've ever tasted. I heard a Caucasian lady request a clean glass and I watched the young guy go to their supply and push 4 or 5 glasses to the side bc they were dirty as well; this was a red flag for me bc now I'm thinking, is the kitchen and tableware, my plate, etc, ok. I ordered the chunky beef burrito which did not have the authentic Mexican flavor and my husband had a chicken burrito which did not look appetizing at all. We ultimately packed our stuff up to go. The service people were cool and inviting and the bar area with tv's was a plus. I scored an overall 1 star bc if the food is not popping, for me, everything else is a zero. In this case, looks are deceiving bc from the outside it looks like a great spot, but it is not. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place to anyone. This was a total waste of money.

I have stopped at this restaurant on my way to Reno from Orange County Ca for many years. I loved it. I am vegan and gluten free and told the waitress and the cashier several times. I get the spinach enchiladas and specially say again NO CHEESE OR SOUR CREAM. I was told red sauce has flour but green sauce is Ok. They delivered the first plate with cheese all over it then they brought me a plate with the green sauce with pork. Then I heard the girl make fun SAYING NO QUESO in a very rude way.
