“I was only there for a short time trying to see the boxing match between Haney/Garcia but it was one of the most hospitable times I've had in my life. Sandra (co-owner) went out of her way to accommodate us in only a Carson city person would do. A food truck readily available to feed the drinking crowd. A band was playing in the back so well I thought it was a record, and my only regret is that I heard about this spot earlier in my trip and that didn't have more time. During my whole time there I was floored with the hospitality of ALL the Carson city establishments. I look forward to visiting again sometime in the future, and I definitely look forward to spending more time at the Tap Shack.“

I recently had absolutely horrendous service at another local restaurant that left me SO angry and frustrated, I will never return to that place (Nashville social club, sorry yall). We walked in this evening, place was packed to the brim with several large parties all at once. The wait to be seated was about 10 minutes, and we were communicating with the whole time. The hostess was awesome in letting us know what was going on, I wish I got their name. After being seated, our server Bradley was nothing but freaking awesome! He kept apologizing for the wait, comped our beers and was so chill and had a level head the whole time. Thank you Bradley, you are a rockstar and my husband and i thoroughly appreciate your good attitude! The food... was divine, i ordered the fried chicken and my husband had the chicken alfredo. Both our meals were perfection and we were happy to wait for high quality super tasty food. Bradley absolutely held the fort down and made sure we were taken care of while we waited, and knowing we had received bad service from another place made this feel more special and we felt cared for and taken care of. Thank you thank you thank you Bradley and everyone else at the fox brewery! We'll be coming back weekly and are excited to try more things off the menu!“

“I got the Greek salad which comes with romaine lettuce, Kalamata olives, tomatoes, peppers, peperoncini, feta cheese and a lemon vinaigrette. The salad was a good size and filled me up quickly. Staff was extremely friendly, greeted as soon as I sat down by the bartender, the waitress came shortly after. Pricing was very fair considering the size of the plate!“

“Everything was correct and good. Even my picky roommate's burger was fully correct. It is a small spot with a limited menu but they have Guiness in the bottle and pretzel balls. Those needed salt but were good otherwise. The bartender serving our table was knowledgible and friendly and it was just him and the cook there. We will be back.“
