“We had a small wedding reception here on August 19. We started in the garden until rain moved in and MacDuffs quickly moved us inside and upstairs. The food and service were excellent. Our waitress was awesome and working with MacDuffs beforehand was great too. We were a party of 18 from Michigan and everyone was very complimentary! Highly recommend!!’“

“Lovely local bar with excellent drinks and wonderful service. Adrian at the bar was outstanding and made me feel right at home visiting as a solo female traveler. Tons of locals and tourists alike, everyone was friendly with a laid back atmosphere and pool tables. The place was very clean, organized and I loved their merchandise. Highly recommend.“

“Would recommend going here and also, getting a reservation lol. Hard to show up and wait especially in the evening, as it seems like people will get a table and stay for multiple hours for drinking and hanging out. Super busy restaurant, but with a uniquely friendly atmosphere and staff. I tried the sausage platter and schweinshaxe. The sausages were all delicious and I would recommend to try the game ones as well. The side items they are served with as well as the variety of mustards allowed for plenty of flavor combinations. Not as impressed with the schweinshaxe as it is skinless, so you missed out on the fantastic crunch from the braised shoulder when served in such a way. Flavor-wise, still pretty good. Would recommend to try a draft flight as the beers were all delicious and none worth missing out on. Loved the interior, really feels like a little Bavarian drafthouse.“

“The food was incredible. Some of the best ribs and fries I’ve had in a very long time. We came to do Karaoke and found some amazing food. The Karaoke, however, is what turned us off. Being told by the KJ that we would have to pay a $5 cover charge (discounted because we had eaten dinner) was so off putting that we decided to leave. If the cover had been listed on the website or Facebook or instagram, we might have decided to go anyways, but considering we had already paid for dinner and were about to order drinks, we just decided to save our money and not gamble on a random Karaoke night at a random bar.“

“It was our first time here and we were so impressed by the menu! Lots of great options and there’s something for everyone. We had a reservation and were quickly seated. I was pleasantly surprised to see a high chair, kids water cup and wikki stix waiting for our toddler. So thoughtful!

We started with a beer flight and were delighted by the variety of flavors from the Holla Back Heff to the Oktoberfest to the Mexican Chocolate Stout. Of course we had to have an IPA in there too, which was also really tasty!

For an appetizer, we shared the Elote dip which had great flavor and was big enough to share at a table for four. It was the perfect starter to our meal.

I ordered the shoyu ramen with pork belly and was impressed by all the fresh veggies it came with! My almost two year old toddler also loved munching on the julienne carrots and noodles that were cooked to perfection. There was lots of depth to the broth and the pork belly had a nice smokiness that was really delicious!

My husband got the fish and chips, which was a large portion of delicious beer battered rock cod and plenty of crispy fries (which helps when others at the table want to share your meal!). He also ordered a ski bum sour cocktail, made with milk wash bulleit, spiced apple simple syrup, lemon and nutmeg - which was flavorful and the right combination of sweet and sour.

We also ordered the chicken tendys for our son and had enough left over to pack for his lunch the next day.

For dessert, we had the chocolate cheesecake and key-lime pie. Both were yummy and felt like the perfect way to end our meal.

Overall, we loved ambiance of the restaurant and the service was exceptional. Definitely a family friendly atmosphere and will surely be our new go-to spot when in Tahoe.“

“Beautiful setting on the golf course overlooking the lake and mountains. Our server was attentive and provided great service. He allowed us to dine leisurely, not making us feel like we had to rush through our dining experience. We had the burger, club sandwich, and mahi mahi tacos, which were all delicious. We will definitely return on our next visit to Tahoe!“
