“Super friend staff and amazing food! Everyone was so friendly and helpful but, most importantly, the food was SO good! My husband and I both got different omelets and both were so good. We ate until we were beyond stuffed because the food was THAT good! He got a Bloody Mary that was one of the best I’ve had out here and I got a mimosa. Perfect little brunch atmosphere and set up! ❤️ You can not visit Lake Tahoe and pass this honey up!“

“People are underhyping this place. I don’t think they could make food fast enough for me to gorge myself. I don’t care if I get crippling diarrhea from eating far too much too fast. 100% worth. And I don’t expect to get sick at all. These taste incredibly fresh for being fried.

The beef, spicy chicken and breakfast empanadas were hands down the best tasting thing I’ve had short of Michelin star restaurants. And for the cost, just buy a case of these.

I’m so happy I don’t live closer or I would have to get GLP-1s to fit through doorways.

Keep buying them and keep the lines long! I’ll protest if I come back and I can’t get more.

I’ll try the sweet ones once I can breathe.

“6 of us had a superb meal. The server was attentive, but forgot to mention the rolls had powdered garlic after I had told him I had a intolerance of Powdered and dried garlic.. I ordered the Lobster ravioli, which was an appetizer, for my dinner and a dinner sized portion was served. It was delicious and I devoured the whole dinner. Will come again when we are in the are.“

“The 5-star reviews set high expectations. You can view this place two ways: lean into the nostalgic charm of a unique, seemingly authentic, cash-only hole-in-the-wall and call it 5 stars, or take a more objective view, which lands closer to 4.

The overgrown trailer counter service setting feels genuinely authentic, and the menu is extensive. Service is quick if it’s empty, but expect a wait when it’s busy. I ordered the marinated beef burrito: decent portion, overall good, but fairly bland with pretty dry meat. I ended up relying on multiple rounds of tomatillo hot sauce (also not vary flavorful) to boost the flavor. Orange oil eventually starts dripping out of the tortilla, which I couldn’t decide was a positive badge of authenticity or unneeded lubricant for a later trip to the toilet.

At around $10 in South Tahoe, it’s satisfying and a decent value, and I’d come back (likely try other menu items.) But it’s not a 5-star spot unless you’re heavily weighting the family-run, trailer-based charm over the food itself. If “authentic” to you means mild flavor and oil dripping, it fits. Otherwise, go in with tempered tastebud expectations and you'll definitely enjoy it. Solid 4 stars.“

“This a great place for hearty breakfast. We went two times during our weeks stay in the Tahoe area. The service wad friendly and efficient. It is conveniently located, with plenty of parking. We were in and out within an hour and ready for a day of adventures.“

“We are visiting Tahoe for the weekend and found this place on Google. We ordered sweet and sour chicken, generals chicken, beef chow fun and bbq pork fried rice. The food was so good. The chicken was nice and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The beef chow fun and fried rice were delicious as well. The staff was also very kind and personable. We will definitely be back when ever we come to visit. You should give this place a try.“

“Holy crap!! What a great spot! I went on a Friday night, no reservation, but they made a spot for me and my two dogs! They had a dog menu and I got the beef bowl for my boys. The food was amazing, had the truffle fries and artichoke pasta. The staff was so nice. My Theo kept jumping on them, so annoying, he's not usually like that, but they just loved on him instead of getting annoyed, though I'm sure they were. Literally the best little spot in south lake tahoe. Cannot recommend enough!!“

The hostess would not let us sit at the table to start ordering drinks because we were missing 2 out of the 8 people in our group. needless to say we already had 6 ready to be seated. once we were seated the table next to us had the umbrella slanted. this caused the table to fly over from a gust of wind shattering a plate and cutting my leg. the stay was kind enough to provided a wipe and some bandaid. We continued our night until the hostess decided to empty water cups from other guest into the flower bed behind us. Which then caused the dirt to splash up on one of our guest white shirts and be covered in mud. A smug sorry was replied out. As stated before the food was terrific and the wait staff was great but the hostess needs to be replaced.“

And offered us free Mexican desserts from bakery next door. So friendly like everyone was family. Food was so fresh and tasty, so authentic. Oh also very reasonable prices too.“

Appetizers were out in under five minutes and the main course within an additional five minutes. Food was hot and fresh. General Tsao was the favorite at the table. “We stopped at Super Tacos for a quick bite before heading to the Gondola. We each got 2 carne asada tacos and they were really good. I liked that they use 2 tortillas and cook the outer one a little more so the taco doesn’t fall apart—smart move.

I added guac to mine which was tasty, but the real winner was the green chili salsa… wow, so good and full of flavor. Service was fine, nothing amazing, but it’s an outdoor-only spot so it’s all about the food anyway.

I’d definitely come back and try a burrito next time.“

“So happy to have found this pizza parlor! We used to always go to a different one here in South Shore but it hasn't been as good as in past years so we thought we'd try a new pizza parlor. If you like a thick crust, lots of condiments and cheese, then this is your place! We always try a plain cheese pizza at every new restaurant. If cheese is good, then you know anything else will also be and the cheese pizza did not disappoint! We also had a custom order pizza with condiments to our liking and it was also phenomenal. I highly recommend this establishment.“
