“Came here for a quick lunch since we were staying nearby and could walk here. There's not many options on the north shore but we weren't very hungry so opted for something simple. I ended up getting the the big kahuna chicken salad with pineapple and grilled teriyaki chicken. The salad itself was big and pretty filling. I enjoyed the canned pineapple for sweetness but the chicken was dry and the texture was similar to the already prepared chicken you can buy at grocery stores. The chicken was also too salty and the sauce was more just soy sauce than teriyaki and it wasn't sweet at all. Overall not a bad meal considering there's not a lot of eat around but I wouldn't choose to come again. We did get the local ice cream afterwards as well which was a nice treat. The banana chocolate chip was yummy and pretty light.“

“While pricey, it is worth it for the great view of the lake. This place is always busy, and it is clear why. There is a great food and beverage selection, including a decent wine list. We were here for lunch on a Thursday and it was pretty busy. Ordered the French dip ?, sliders ?, and grilled fish tacos ?. We all finished our plates and enjoyed the food, the service (thanks Brandon!), and especially the atmosphere!“

“Service was great! The two servers and solo host were very busy taking care of the entire place by themselves. It’s not easy to bus and serve. Not sure why temps were taken on the eggs as none of them came out consistent. IMO no need to even stress taking temps because it’s not the Four Seasons.Poached eggs are the easiest when understood how to execute in high volume. Boil with water and vinegar mixture and separately hold them aside in a warm water bath. A sous vide can keep a regulated low temp. Every poached egg will be perfect. Chef was probably having a hard day, might have been solo as well (bless that persons soul). as everything on the plate seemed cold in different sections. Hot sausage, cold eggs, crispy hot (very delicious) potatoes, cold soggy eggs benni.Great spot. Just needs to tighten up some aspects.“

“We ordered the baby gem salad, scallops, ribs, lamb chops, deviled eggs, Mac and cheese, and frites. Would ordered everything again every single time. If I had to pick a favorite bite - it was probably the scallops, but that feels rude to the ribs. I don't see how you could go wrong here. All of the drinks and food were truly wonderful, as was the service! I love the vibe of the restaurant it felt intimate, well curated, and nicer for the area yet casual enough for jeans. Highly recommend making a reservation for Bite!“

“Excellent food and well presented. Staff and owner were very friendly and accommodating. Loved the escargot and ahi appetizers. Filet mignon was cooked perfectly. It was a very casual place with a laid back sort of feel and a short walk from the Hyatt hotel. Highly recommend to anyone visiting incline village.“

“Incredible sandwich shop! We drive up to the Truckee area 3 or 4 times a year during the spring and summer, and we always stop here for a sandwich to take on our hike. Heck, we almost come up here JUST for a sandwich! Typically we’ll get the chicken pesto sandwich on Dutch crunch bread. One sandwich is big enough for the two of us, and we usually add one of their big chocolate chip cookies. The photo shows just a half of the sandwich. Best sandwich ever! Great staff as well.“

“We came at the very busy time, and the server Alex was working completely alone, but he provided such a great service-fast, friendly, and very professional. Food and coffee were great. Definitely a gem place in a Tahoe style.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“

“Excellent food, wine and view of Lake Tahoe. Elegant setting and upscale ambiance but welcoming and inviting, not stuffy or snooty. We brought our 3 kids (10, 12, 15) and we felt very welcomed and comfortable. Husband has a dairy sensitivity and they were able to accommodate substitutions without any issues. Dining room is quiet but noise from the bar area does waft over from time to time.“

“This review is way overdue. We came here for the Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve, and were so delighted by the entire experience. The food was excellent, the dining room was lively, and the service was welcoming and attentive. This is one of the nicer spots for dining out in Truckee, so it's great for a celebration, date night or just a nice dinner out. We haven't had a chance to return on a regular night, but we definitely plan to.“

“The food is good tasting and healthy. As a local I eat here several times a month. The breakfast burritos are good and lamb bowl as well. Only complaint would be overpriced salads for what you get but overall good choice for a healthy eatery.“

“This is a great Italian-style pizzeria. The salad bar is not frequently-enough restocked, so take a careful look before ordering the salad bar. The veggie pizza and the pepperoni were solid 4 star, but the salad bar was a 3 star. Service was prompt, although the servers are quite young (it's Incline, so that happens)Parking: You may have to wait a moment for someone to pull out, but it is strip-mall-type parking“

“This is the only place in north lake that locals eat at consistently, from breakfast to dinner they never disappoint. Great outdoor seating treating bartenders and incredible food. Don’t waste your time eating at Lanzas or Jason’s. Unfortunately almost every other restaurant in town has gone down hill while spindys keeps getting better.Kid-friendliness: Tons of space for the critters to run around!“

“I will drive 10 hours to eat pizza at this pizzeria. I refuse to leave the Tahoe area without eating here at least once. Best pizza ever! The crust and everything is so good. Also reallyyyy love their garlic chessy bread. Even though I get massive heartburn it’s so worth “

“Cool ambiance. Casual setting in beautiful converted house. Reasonably priced drinks served by competent and friendly bartenders. Food is a step or two above typical apres ski fare. Live music is great. Can be a tad crowded in the evenings.“

“This place is a ton of fun if you enjoy spooky and occasional interesting vibes - food is always incredible - cocktails are great - I wish they had better wine and beer - but their pastrami is amazing - consistently great - their specials are always inventive and fun. The live music is great - but if you aren't a fan of ghosts or vibes this may not be the place for you. I've met three there so far - tons of fun. Lively spirits and great service! Totally friendly, attentive and fun.“

“It's a very charming restaurant and we were super lucky to get a Wednesday evening 5:30 PM reservation a mere 5 hours in advance. Our dinner experience was amazing! The food came out hot, the flavors and sauces were outstanding, and the service was fantastic. We ordered the Lobster Wontons appetizer, White Shrimp Fresh Sea Scallops & ¼ Maine Lobster Tail with Fettucine entree, and the Oregon Petrale Sole daily fish special. The soup of the day was Cauliflower soup. The lobster wonton appetizer came with 3 wontons. The ginger, shiitake mushrooms, and other seasonings paired very well with the lobster. The Chinese mustard and red chili dipping sauce served on the side was HOT and we felt the wontons had plenty enough flavor without the need to add any hot sauce. Rating: 8 I wasn't expecting to like the cauliflower soup but it was really really good! I'm not a huge fan of cauliflower or of soup in general, but the cauliflower flavor had a perfect subtleness and was accented with a touch of cumin seasoning. Rating: 8 My wife had the Oregon Petrale Sole. She described it as very flavorful (blend of lemon, garlic, and mushroom flavors and a light panko coating) and cooked to perfection. Rating: 10 I ordered the Shrimp, Scallop, Lobster Tail with Fettucine. OMG! Per the menu: "sautéed w/ red bell peppers, fresh basil, tomatoes, mushrooms and lemon garlic butter; cheese & onion." The sauce was sooooo amazing and perfectly compliment the seafood. I couldn't stop raving about the flavor even after arriving back at the hotel room. Rating: 10+ Our server was John and we thoroughly enjoyed the additional side conversations with him throughout our seating. (Ask him if he's ever tried moose.)“

“Absolutely delicious! The service, food, and drinks were phenomenal! Why not 5 stars, because they dont have high chairs which is a complete bummer since Truckee is a place a lot of families come to visit with their children and don't have child care to go without them. I hope they consider making this change as I would definitely come every time I'm in town if it was more comfortable for children to join.“

“The only downside was how bright those LED lights are over the side booth tables. Super bright. I know they can't be dimmed via a dimmer switch, but maybe there's a diff fixture option. It feels like you're under an interrogation light while you're eating.“

“Yelp does it again, helping us find another fabulous establishment. We were quite hungry after a drive and a little sightseeing and ready for a late lunch, preferably something healthy-ish. While there was an A-frame sign out front that said Bluefish, the establishment we walked into was more of a liquor store with small bar in front. We initially thought we were in the wrong place. Perhaps some of the reviews had mentioned this, but I hadn't dug deep. Luckily, after walking out of the store, we walked back in towards the back and located Bluefish. While there are some Poké combos you can choose from, you can also customize your own bowl. The four of us each decided to customize and we were not disappointed! At an hour before closing they were out of white rice, but we were all OK with eating brown rice (plus adds to health factor). You can select your protein, rice and/or salad, sauce(s) and unlimited toppings. I got spicy tuna, salmon, Yuzu something rather (Mayo) and garlic ponzu sauces and many yummy toppings. The fish was quite fresh tasting, the sauces on point (yuzu Mayo was great!) and the rice cooked just right. I really like that you can select an unlimited amount toppings when you customize your bowl, even avocado! The service was also good, especially the young lady working the front. She helped me with my canned margarita order, sharing a little story about the drink's creator, and was sweet enough to put my drink in a glass with ice. The liquor store also has quite a nice selection of wine, liquor, beer and other canned / bottled adult beverages (sorry, no pictures of their selection). And the section adjacent to Bluefish has a small selection of Asian market goods. My fam gave me props for finding another good place to eat at. 4.5 stars. Thanks Yelp for not letting us down!“
“Alibi is an absolute banger of brewery, they have an excellent selection of brews for cover a range of pallets. What better place to try them out than the source! The location itself is tucked back with some warehouses but they have a pretty nice setup for the bar (no food but you can bring your own from elsewhere). On a sunny day head through the brewery to the shaded back patio to enjoy the fresh Tahoe air and a chilled beverage.“

“Off the chain, great! I've never had a bad meal there, and I've been dining at Azzara's for at least 20 years. I always tell people who ask for a recommendation. I think it is thenumber 1 restaurant in Incline.Be sure to ask what flavor the homemade Gelato of the restaurant is for that night. And if you like the flavor, order at least one for the table. If you've traveled to Italy and had Gelato there, Azzara's is like a taste of Italy.Vegetarian options: All the pasta for which there are many choices, eggplant Parmigiano (outstanding), salads, especially the Ceasar, roasted veggies, but you have to ask for it to be cooked a little longer otherwise, it's al dente, very al dente. Their menu is online, so you can see what maybe I left out.“

“Friendly, nice owners! The Food is fantastic as well! My family recently had to go gluten free and I was SO excited to find fabulous food so close to home. I get to swing in to pick up my Meatless Monday's 3 course meal, and dinner is done for the night. Perfect place to go after picking up my kids from sports practice and know I've got a gluten free, locally sourced and tasty meal to feed the whole family. I buy organic and local myself, and enjoy supporting businesses that do the same.“

“We stopped in after a stroll around the lake with our baby and posted up on the outdoor patio. We were greeted warmly and received delicious recommendations for both beer and the lunch menu—spot ON were the Cali common beer and their amber. And the food…SO delicious! Dan Dan noodles are not to be missed, they have a beautiful Szechuan influence and kale, we devour every bite. They grind the meat for their burger in-house and you can taste the goodness between the havarti and arugula. Love coming here every visit!“
“This place was amazing! One thing I've always wanted to do was to go venture out to tasting menu restaurants and I'm so glad I found Trokay! The chef was super nice and I enjoyed talking to her between courses! The servers were great as well, I honestly fell in love with the ambiance of this place! Looks secluded and like a true fine dining experience! I can't wait to come back here in the future, eager to see what changes occur in the menu and what else they've brought in!“

“Indoor and outdoor seatings available. Excellent service. Ambiance is a 5 out of 5. Beautiful lake view if you can sit outside. We grabbed a lite bite on this beautiful day. Food was just fair though. Calamari needed more seasoning. Spicy margarita had no kick. Caesar salad was average tasty. We didn't order much so I would go try other stuff.“

“We stopped for dinner after snowshoeing on a Monday. My calzone was delicious. The place was packed when we left. The one person was bar tending, waiting tables, and bussing tables. “Food is nice bar fare, quality, but at a bit of a premium. Craft beer selection is solid for such a small area, and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. Long tables and four-sided bar-top leaves plenty of room for groups. The staff is friendly but not annoying, professional, and seem to have a good sense of humor. All in all, a great spot to stop in for a laid-back lunch after getting off the hill, or just some brews with the boys. Oh, and they have live music (check with staff for days) and country line dancing every first Monday of the month. Expect a meal and a drink to run you ~ $35Kid-friendliness: While not kid-oriented specifically, Alibi is welcoming to families.“

“When your kid requests a dish twice in a row for the two nights we stayed in North Tahoe, you know that it's that good. The first night we had to get it to go, the wait was an hour long and there is no way a kid will wait for food that long. Ordering the food and pick up was really easy, and staff is very friendly and patient. We ordered the gouda mac and cheese with ham, and by far one of the most flavorful mac and cheese I had. The sauce, the cheese it was just so yummy. We also got the sausage pizza which was very meaty and tasty. Second night we were lucky enough to get a table, and staff is very friendly and informative. Inside had a full sit at bar and also regular tables. The second night we ordered the same gouda mac and cheese and thai curry pizza. Was very satisfying both nights. After a day in the snow, this place hits the spot.“

“This place is a solid. Good food, good service. My salad had pears and candied pecans. Loved the taste, it all blended together perfectly. The Alaskan Halibut is the signature dish. The fish was a bit dry, but the lemon sauce made up for that. We topped it off with a bottle of Malbec. Altogether, a good meal. The menu had some good choices, the short ribs and pork chop looked very good. One of my friends had the short ribs and enjoyed them. The waiter was a bit of a cut-up. He had a young daughter with him, about 4 years old. The waiter told us his wife was at the bar. Then, little Ruth said "drinking water". Quiet place, good for a date night or a good meal with friends. Recommended.“

“I've been here twice now after a day of skiing. The first time I thought omg this is fantastic. This second time I brought someone with me and they said it was the best rotisserie chicken they have ever had. The flavor is amazing. Juicy. Cooked to perfection. Crispy skin. I also got the tri-tip (both times) which was delicious. The spicy salsa isn't too spicy. I got the rice and beans on the side. Throwing it all into a tortilla and dipping it in the hot sauce was a 10/10 experience. Both times. The first time I took it to go and this second time I dined in. The workers are so sweet. I'll keep coming back here for my post ski meals!“

“Solid pizza joint up in Truckee. I loved going to the place in Tahoe City long ago when I would head to night skiing at now-Palisades Tahoe and head back to my friend's house with an appetite the size of the village. Now they have a spot in Truckee with slices made to order and some of the requisite games on site to play. Super cute spot, good food, even when my order has been not quite what I placed it's still good. Would love to see expanded options for alcoholic drinks like ciders instead of just beers. The non-alcoholic options are damn good, they have tons of various Mexican sodas. Service has always been great - friendly and timely. Definitely a staple spot.“

“Wicked tasty food, we enjoyed smash burger, shrimp tacos and florentine benny. Everything was nicely done, very flavorful - burger cooked perfect to my med request, shrimp perfect too (often places overcook and make it chewy) and bene superb. And despite hoping for fries not available with burger the roasted potatoes by far better than best fries! Plus our waitress Otilia was amazing, very friendly and helpful. “Just having a meal in this cool spot is a treat in itself. Amazingly kind customer service, a beautiful interior with a lot of personality, and yummy food! The menu is basic breakfast and lunch foods but they indeed do a great job. The french fries have a thin crunchy crust on the outside. They also asked me if I want my corned beef hash crunchy and I said YES thanks for asking. As someone who orders corned beef hash everywhere that offers it, I was so happy that this is the 1st place that asked for my preference! I will make sure to come back here every time I am in the area. The thought of this place puts a smile on my face.Parking: Parking lot but most of it is too wet and muddy. We ended up parking on the next street over.“
