“The seafood pan roasts here are done to perfection! THIS place is the highlight of my trips to Heavenly. Whenever we come to Tahoe for a weekend, I have to stop and have lunch here at least once or twice. I’ve tried almost everything on their short menu. My favorite is the lobster pan roast with crawfish added. It’s decadent. Depending on my mood, I will also get a glass of bubbly to go with my meal. Sometimes…depending on the casino experience, the meal here is the BEST part of my weekend. Highly recommend this place for good seafood.“

“One of the Lake Tahoe classic bars. A must visit if you're from out of town to get a feel for local Lake Tahoe. Very easy to get to with plenty of parking. Stay is always friendly and service is fast. It's a very neat place to grab a beer or one if their specialty drinks. They have a rad happy hour as well. Check it out!“

“Went for my wife’s birthday, the service was stellar, and the views were amazing. Our servers name was Teddy, he was extremely attentive, gave great recommendations, checked on is frequently, was friendly and professional. I had the prime rib and my wife had the lobster, both were delicious and prepared exactly as ordered. The complimentary birthday dessert was a nice touch, and very tasty. The bill came and I was pleasantly surprised by the total, a great value. Will definitely go again.“

“We had the best dinner experience in Cafe Del sol for 2 days in a row, February 4th 2026 and February 5th 2026, it was our baby girl 2nd birthday 🎂, The servers were very attentive, food was delicious 😋. We meet the 👩‍🍳 chef Ruben Chachagua who is Salvadorian like my husband. We became friends with him and hoping that he can visit Monterey California soon.
My husband loved the seafood Pasta, my baby loved the tortilla soup.
I did ordered the first night a hamburger that it was sooo yummy, I ordered with coleslaw instead of French fries and the coleslaw was super delicious. The next day, my husband ordered The special, short rib with mashed potatoes and vegetables 😋 and every bite was outstanding, I did order a special dish, Chicken Alfredo pasta and it was very yummy, I requested an order of jalapeños and the chef made a very special order for me , I love those jalapeños!!!
Overall our experience was amazing!!!
That's why we come back twice!!
I highly recommend this place!!!

“It was our first time here and we may have hyped it up too much in our heads in anticipation. We were disappointed you couldn't watch them cooking in the kitchen. The food was good, but not outstanding. Here's what we ate and our opinion of each: Scallops - very fresh but the bacon didn't pair well with it; Filet - great cut of meat but not seasoned well enough to be eaten without the sauce (which was great). The roasted tomato served with it was delicious; Sticky toffee pudding - yummy and just the right amount of sweetness; Classic margarita - loved the salt and cilantro rim and the perfect touch of spice with the peppers! We'll be back to try other menu items and definitely to get drinks and dessert again.“

“Went for dinner Really great, the whole staff was really sweet especially our server Pam she was great really attentive. I went with my son and a friend and her son, and with two babies and other people there the service was still great. Got some rice and avocado for our kids. Really big pieces of sushi definitely worth the price. We went around 4:30 for dinner and it was a great time to go especially with kids not too busy.
