The host Frank Greco was amazing. We had a dinner reservation, but wanted to be seated at a table in the bar. We wanted to have a cocktail first. He set menus at a bar table essentially saving our spot and we went to the table when we were ready. Made things very easy.
Our server Bailey also did a phenomenal job and the whole experience was great!
Jeremy was very welcoming and was helpful with recommended dishes! Told us about his favorite because in case we were wanting to check it out. Definitely would come back’
Jeremey and Hal were so attentive. Service was excellent, and the food was delicious!

The staff, including Frank the General Manager, Jeremy the waiter, and Carlos, are described as friendly, attentive, and professional. Bartenders Bill and Tara get drinks just right. The food is excellent, with specific meals like Pan Seared Sea Bass, Filet Mignon, Salmon, prime rib, and Chilean sea bass all prepared perfectly. The butternut bisque and butternut squash soup are amazing. For dessert, guests enjoyed vanilla bean gelato with a shot of espresso, an affogato, huckleberry gelato, and oven-crisp crème brûlée. The Early Bird Special is a great deal, including soup or salad and dessert with an entree. The atmosphere features amazing views of Lake Tahoe and jazz music on Thursday nights. The service goes over the top to make special evenings memorable, such as for a 24th Wedding Anniversary. The restaurant is the epitome of fine dining with beautiful dishware. One guest noted they did not care for imberico pork, but the prime rib was very good. The staff is attentive and the food is excellent, making the Sage Room a place where great memories are made.
