“One of our birthday guy requested for BBQ while our ski trip in Lake Tahoe so we found out this place with good reviews on Yelp and would love to try it. This place not too far from South Lake Tahoe and not even 10 mis drive from Stateline. Step in around 7:30 pm and so crowded inside. Check-in with host and she said the wait time is about 45 mins for the party of 6 adults and 2 kids. Looks inside still have a few tables that available and also a few more unclean tables. Decided to wait because light snow is falling outside. Just about next 20 mins got the high table and we're so happy with that. Foods were great, ribs were amazing and moreover that is our server. He is so nice and attentive. Reasonable price and worth the wait. Definitely be back!!“

“We have been going to Basecamp for over 9 years as we lived on Stateline. We now live in Minden and go to Heavenly Village to hang out and eat, listen to live music, etc. Let me say that out of all the servers we have ever had. Alydia, I think that is how you spell her name. This girl was on top of everything! Great service she never forgot one thing we asked for, she would look over to see how full my glass was. wow! this girl is AMAZING! She had a smile on her face the whole time. I hope to sit in her section next time we eat there. We appreciate you Alydia :o)“

“I have nothing but great things to say about this place! Supreme location, and no matter where you sit -- inside or outside -- you can see the lake. The service is beyond friendly and accommodating. The food is quality and delicious. And, the wine has never disappointed! The most recent time I went I sat outside on a chilly day, and they even gave me a blanket to keep warm! Highly recommend!“
“What can I say about Flatstick? Is it the ambiance? The soundtrack playing absolute bangers? Maybe the mini golf or a rousing round of "duffleboard"? Perhaps the massive selection of other games and activities? No, the incredible food and the amazing selection of cold beer on draft? I'll tell what it REALLY is: the staff. They are all super friendly and make the experience what it is. Especially the cute blonde behind the bar, Bailey. She is the LITERALLY the best bartender EVER, no contest. She is charming, hilarious, and lively (not to mention that she possesses a beauty to rival Helen of Troy). “Authentic Italian cuisine is always highly appreciated. The fresh made pasta noodles make the fettuccine Alfredo a delightful meal. The pizzas are excellent and so good from the dough to the sauce, the meat pizza was my sons favorite. The flavors were amazing across all my familys orders and they had an excellent whine and beer selection. ? cheers“
“This is a great place to eat , the inside was something out of a cozy movie .. the pizza was great you can choose your own or build your own.. staff was friendly and knowledgeable when asking questions about the food.. they also have a salad bar which looked inviting .. there is also a bar but they only served beer no hard liquor..yes I would recommend this place.“

“Good food! Prosciutto was way to salty thay it overpowered the rest of the ingredients. Pesto tasted great and so did the artichoke. Its just that the flavors of each dish doesnt compliment the other dishes for some reason. Individually its great but eaten together it was all over the place bur great food still tho! Would come back!“
“This place is local to me. The flavor is great. We've ordered multiple times. We laugh as we never know what you're going to get. Is it my order or someone else's? However it's still good. We ordered two large pizzas with half and half veggie options (total of 4) incredible and portions are very generous! Best pizza we've had in a long time!“
“Had a great experience at this place. Got a salad but wasn't a fan on the chicken on top (just my personal preference). They exchanged it for a pizza. Lesson learned, don't get salad at a pizza joint ?. They were understanding. Tht fireplace outside was great for kids. And large area for kids to play. They also have another cocktail bar next door that was amazing.“

“We live about an hour and a half from Tahoe, so we don't get a chance to eat here often. But when we DO come to Tahoe, Blue Dog is an ESSENTIAL stop while we're here. The food is amazing! It's become our family tradition to come here once or twice in a weekend visit!“

I'm not used to seeing people with so much enthusiasm for their work, and who are truly dedicated to providing an excellent customer service experience. If the owner is reading this, I suggest promoting this man, he’s the type of employee you want, who gives customers like myself a good reason to return. “We went to the sushi bar here. It was a great place. Unusual decor but friendly staff. Very busy so it’s poplar. The menu was exciting and the food was excellent and well priced, but the venue was cold (we ate in our ski clothes, hat and jacket!) and all our meal were lukewarm in temperature when we went to eat. “Best service and food hands down. I'll go to the beaver but only because the taverns not open all the time. But if I could... the taverns menu never is boring or stagnant. Watching there kitchen work looks Ike a well orchestrated symphony. There friendly, helpful, and truly are great... there chef is amazing and talented beyond description. Iv been honestly holding back my review due to the fact I wanted to enjoy my hole I the wall discovery as long as I could, knowing full well they would be packed nearly every visit soon, and I was right.
