“Book a reservation at Sylva. I cannot recommend this place enough, it is a fantastic staff, amazing menu and beautiful place. Every dish was beautifully executed and delivered more than it promised. The palette on their chef and the flavors their menus bring cannot be missed. I will be back here every time I’m in Tahoe from now on. Trust the chefs at Sylva and the staff will take care of the rest. They do get crowded so please make that reservation ahead of time. My favorite place in Tahoe City, hands down.“

“Found ourselves here while driving the lake. Great spot with some of the best food around. If you can, take time to walk this area of Tahoe City - it’s really beautiful with a lot to do. Drinks were good and the sourdough bread was delicious.“

“We’re visiting from the Uk and can’t recommend Za’s enough. Amazing food, amazing view, amazing service, amazing food, amazing staff and amazing value. “The food is a little pricey, but very good! I got the pastrami sandwich. The music doesn’t match the vibe of a tap house at all. Also the service method is fast food design. You order and pay and take a number. Overall would get takeout for the food, but not enjoy in house again.“
