“Happy hour here is a must. It’s 4-5 Tuesday-Thursday, so make sure you get here before 4 because boy does it fill up! We were lucky to get a table before happy hour started. It was so worth it! All the sushi was delicious, amazing prices, drinks were great, and we ate until we couldn’t eat any more. Apps were yummy too - already half gone in the photo! We will 1000% be back when we come back to Tahoe!“

“The food was good, service was not as great as the last time. Could've done without the loud banter of the sushi chefs, especially since our food sat on the counter and then was all served on the same plates...the people were not sitting near each other and had to ask for plates to slide them over.. felt like like lazy placing.“

“great BUT expensive- 2 sushi burritos were $40- it was so good and the sauces were good and as a whole I was happy but not sure if the value of $20 each was there for the food. It has always been slow but if you are lucky and people don't know what they want, order first!! I have waited in there for half an hour to order before- but it is good!!! Worth it to try.“

“Korean ran sushi joint. Sushi chefs have skills and experience. Sashimi is cut thick Korean style. Hope that you have the Korean aunty as your server. The darker probably Chinese dude server was rude and wouldn’t listen from the get go, didn’t know the menu, and got our order wrong.Fish is as fresh as you can get. Stick with simple maki’s, nigiri and sashimi. Stay away from sauced up rolls if you don’t want to spend $$$ for less fish. Go to sushi pier for that.“

“People tend to downplay this place a lot but I personally had a great experience! I went in on a Saturday during lunch time and ordered the gyoza appetizer and midtown roll. This isn’t authentic sushi and it isn’t owned by Japanese people, so don’t expect the best of the best but it’s worth the price. They weren’t too busy and I was serviced right away. The appetizer came like a full dish and I appreciated that. Also the waitress was really nice.“
