“My teenage daughter had been dying to try Poke Rok since we arrived in Tahoe for our vacation. On our last day in town, we had the chance to have lunch. We have never had a poke bowl and didn’t know what to do. Leo took the time to lead us through the process asking our preferences along the way. He was friendly and helpful and willing to take the time to ensure our experience was great. That is exactly what it was, GREAT! The ingredients were super fresh, beautiful, and delicious! I cannot say enough positive things about Leo’s customer service and the quality and taste of our poke bowls. If you have the chance, stop in at Poke Rok, you will not be disappointed. Excellent!!“

“What a great little local joint. The staff are so friendly, the prices are very reasonable, and the food is excellent. We tried appetizers, sushi, and dessert— everything was great. Only 2 minutes from the main part of South Lake. Highly recommend!“

“Sushi Pier has gotten much better lately. It was one of my favorite sushi resturants but went down hill after covid. I decided to give it another try last week and was not disapointed. I recommend trying Sushi Pier if you haven't been there before or like me stayed away for a time.“
