“Excellent breakfast and service!! We ate here every morning on our vacation!! Every single staff member was on point the entire time! From the time we walked in, until we were done, everyone was very attentive and friendly. We talked about the service every day. The food was absolutely wonderful and if we’re ever back in the area we will most definitely be back at Ernie’s again!!“

“As many others have mentioned in reviews, the service is pretty slow. They obviously have a system that works for them. But probably isn't in the best interests of paying customers. We waited 30 mins to be sat and another 25-30 minutes to be acknowledged after seating. The prices are a bit steep. But overall, the view, setting and food was excellent. The server was pleasant and punctual on check-ins once our meal arrived. One of the best fish fries I've had west of the Mississippi. Hense the 5 star rating. If you're impatient, this might not be the place for you. If you have all day to relax and dine, then give them a try! Extra points for letting us bring our pup to dine with us!“

“Maggie’s is hands down one of our favorite places to eat in South Lake Tahoe. Every time we’re in town, it’s a must-visit! The food is consistently amazing, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the service always makes us feel right at home.

A special shoutout to our server, Yedi, who was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely personable, Yedi made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Service like that makes an already great dining experience even better.

“I was a bit unsure about walking into a restaurant that wasn’t packed full, and there was some hesitation after the guy at the door was working us hard about buying tickets to the magic show, but I’m so glad we stayed to eat. Our server was very cheerful and helpful, and the food was amazing. Best meal on our trip by far! The wedge salad was probably the best we’ve ever eaten. Another favorite of ours was the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato bisque. Drinks were equally fantastic.“

“One of a kind of experience. You're so close if not right on the border of Nevada and California and you can sit and eat and look at both sides depending on what side of the building you're on. If you can ski and ski better than average you can get there. If you don't ski take the gondola from the lake below and enjoy the view from the gondola and lunch on the probably your highest point on the mountain...“
