“Absolutely amazing staff. Super friendly, knowledgeable staff. Anise, makes killer cocktails quick and delicious and always served with a smile. Azure, is super knowledgeable about the menu and I trust her recommendations on new things. Today I had the Cesar salad and it was the best I’ve had in a long time. I come to Rocker all the time and with service that is unmatched I will always be back to enjoy the ambiance and out of this world service.“

“Book a reservation at Sylva. I cannot recommend this place enough, it is a fantastic staff, amazing menu and beautiful place. Every dish was beautifully executed and delivered more than it promised. The palette on their chef and the flavors their menus bring cannot be missed. I will be back here every time I’m in Tahoe from now on. Trust the chefs at Sylva and the staff will take care of the rest. They do get crowded so please make that reservation ahead of time. My favorite place in Tahoe City, hands down.“

“I got the 1/2 tritip plate with coleslaw and rice with tortillas. Very tasty and fills you up. My daughter got the 1/2 chicken (which is literally half of a chicken) with coleslaw and rice with garlic bread and she brought half home. it was all tasty.“

“The best part of this restaurant is it's environment and it's dog friendliness. We always go with Ares our JRT and you often see other dogs, on the patio. Food is good too, but I actually like my own cooking of quality meat in general.“

“We were able to get to Chambers Landing right before they closed for the season, and it was a perfect way to end our time in Lake Tahoe. You literally cannot beat the view here.

We shared the zucchini fries as an appetizer which were incredible. The ranch was better than the chipotle aioli. For entrees, my husband got the cheeseburger and fries while I got the fish and chips. The fries were perfectly crispy shoestring fries. I heard that the cheeseburger was delicious. My fish was really crispy and golden brown, I just got a few bites that weren't tender. I'm not sure if it was a cooking issue or just the particular piece of fish that made it hard to chew through.“
