“Date of Visit: 4/20/2024 We visited the Six Peaks Grille for dinner during our stay at the Everline Resort & Spa. We went to Alpine Meadows on the day, and after relaxing at the pool area, we changed and came to the Six Peaks Grille. We were sat by the window, with the view of the pool area, mountain and the valley. All the dishes and wine and cocktail options are made with distinct local ingredients. The server was nice too! Explained in detail about the menu and offered a few recommendations. Palisades Punch $16 I ordered the cocktail to pair with my dinner. Palisades Punch was made from Grey Whale Gin, muddled blackberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Very refreshing with the taste of berries and lemon. Highly recommended! 2018 Willa Kenzie Estate Pinot Noir $20 Husband got the Pinot Noir from Williamatte Valley The glass has complex aroma with notes of black cherry, cranberry sauce, and orange peel. Supple tannin and a long finish. Pan Seared Diver Scallops $46 I ordered the pan seared diver scallops with three huge scallops on top of corn risotto, artichoke and chili vinaigrette on the side. 28 Day Dry Aged Ribeye 14oz $66 Husband got the dry aged ribeye. Medium was a little overcooked. There four sauces to choose from, husband got the Garlic Confit Butter that paired well with the steak. Seasonal Foraged Mushroom $12 On the side we got the foraged mushroom. Mushroom were salty but chewy! Chocolate Lava "S'more" Cake $14 Highly recommend the S'more cake dessert! On top of the vanilla ice cream there were sprinkle of graham cracker. On the side there was a chocolate lava cake, and toasted marshmallow. All ingredients of the S'more were on the plate, with a nice twist and good presentation.“

“Visited Rocker for brunch and was thoroughly impressed! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The brunch menu was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The ambiance of the place, complemented by some great background music, set the perfect mood for a relaxing meal. It's worth noting that they also serve lunch and have a bar, which I'm eager to check out next time. “we opted for this cozy little restaurant in the palisades village instead of the food court (which was crowded, and didn't have too many options). they have quick service and clean bathrooms, which is a plus! their menu had thrice as many options as the food court does (which featured $20 burgers and $30 ramen ). truffle bacon brussels sprouts: this dish was quite delicious. definitely priced on the steeper end, but i'm a huge fan of anything truffle. brussels sprouts were cooked to perfection, with an added crisp! the chicken sandwiches were much bigger portions than we were expecting. the chicken was good, but the bread was quite stiff. chicken wings were pretty standard across the board. solid restaurant to refuel with! check it out!“

“Came here on a weeknight during a trip to Tahoe. We were seated in the bar area at a high top that still offered a nice view of the beautiful lake. We opted for the tasting menu. The first course was a kanpachi, which was very light and flavorful. Next was a delightful beet salad. I enjoyed the scallop and lamb dishes very much. I thought the service was underwhelming, as they asked for us to hold on to our silverware between courses, which I find less than ideal for an upscale restaurant, particularly for a tasting menu. It was also hard to summon our waiter, as he was quite elusive. Their house breads were fantastic, though, and I really enjoyed their house made olive oil and lavender infused butter. The triple chocolate dessert that is part of the tasting menu is quite small but very rich. My dining partner opted for the panna cotta instead, which I think was stronger dessert. Overall, we enjoyed our experience here due to the quality and execution of the dishes and beautiful ambiance.“

“This review is way overdue. We came here for the Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve, and were so delighted by the entire experience. The food was excellent, the dining room was lively, and the service was welcoming and attentive. This is one of the nicer spots for dining out in Truckee, so it's great for a celebration, date night or just a nice dinner out. We haven't had a chance to return on a regular night, but we definitely plan to.“

“After experiencing an incredibly rude interaction by the owners of the nearby Smokey’s place, I decided to walk over to the Truckee Food Shop and grab a roasted half chicken with vegetables and Caesar salad. The owner was probably the most pleasant person I’ve dealt with in a very long time. And the food was great! I went on my home to Sacramento area but stopped at the lookout on the old Donner Summit Road. I enjoyed my meal with the wonderful scenery in front of me. It was nice and much better than dealing with that rude old old lady at Smokey’s.“

“This was the perfect place to stop for lunch and a drink. We got the burger and grilled cheese with tomato bisque plus a 50/50 beer and the fizzle dance (gin fizz). Everything was yummy (except the beer was okay)! There wasn't much seating so don't think I'd want to do dinner here but worked well for lunch. I think they have other seating areas open during lunch though. Staff was friendly. Overall great place to stop in for a delicious quick bite.“

“Came here on a weeknight during a trip to Tahoe. We were seated immediately in a cozy area in the back, and our server was very kind and attentive. We started with sashimi and lobster tempura. The sashimi tasted fresh, and the tempura was perfectly crispy. We split the Thai seafood soup as our main. This was super flavorful and not too salty. We really enjoyed the service and ambiance here too!“

“We came here for lunch on one of our days in Truckee. We don't drink beer but we ordered some other drinks that were amazingly delicious. For our appy, we ordered these shrimp bao buns that were super flavorful. I ordered the bratwurst hotdog and that was yummy with a healthy helping of sauerkraut and two types of dip - cheese or grainy mustard. To be honest, that bratwurst wrapped in a pretzel bun could stand on its own without any dips...OMG! so good that u still remember how it tastes nearly a week after our trip. My husband ordered the turkey burger and that thing came loaded and he said it was one of the best turkey burgers he's ever had. We loved this place and will definitely be one of our go-tos in Truckee when we're up next! Thank you Alibi team...great work!“

“Super cute shop, mostly for take out food. There is no seating indoors but there are a couple of picnic tables outside. Today I had a ribeye panini which was absolutely delicious. Very savory and satisfying. They have mole, pozole, fried chicken, various salads, sandwiches, and pasta. Lots of interesting drinks too. You can buy baked bread, dry pastas, sauces, spices too. If this were located in downtown Truckee where there is more foot traffic, I know that there would be a line out the door.“

“Really enjoyed the Brussel Sprouts and the soup of the day being a Guinness Beef Stew. Great beer selection but food is a bit limited. Almost everything is super cheesy. Service was really friendly and knowledgeable but got left alone for pretty long periods of time when we needed water/refills and the check. Still a really cool spot.“

“This place was amazing! One thing I've always wanted to do was to go venture out to tasting menu restaurants and I'm so glad I found Trokay! The chef was super nice and I enjoyed talking to her between courses! The servers were great as well, I honestly fell in love with the ambiance of this place! “This place is a ton of fun if you enjoy spooky and occasional interesting vibes - food is always incredible - cocktails are great - I wish they had better wine and beer - but their pastrami is amazing - consistently great - their specials are always inventive and fun. The live music is great - but if you aren't a fan of ghosts or vibes this may not be the place for you. I've met three there so far - tons of fun. Lively spirits and great service! Totally friendly, attentive and fun.“

“This is our absolute favorite place to go whenever we are in Truckee. The staff is incredible. Ask for Theresia behind the bar, her and Andrea are the best of the best. Management takes such good care of the crew and it definitely shows. My favorite cocktail is a toasted, pecan old-fashioned and you must have the butter cake for dessert. My husband and I look forward to every chance we get to go there!“

“This place is a solid. Good food, good service. My salad had pears and candied pecans. Loved the taste, it all blended together perfectly. The Alaskan Halibut is the signature dish. The fish was a bit dry, but the lemon sauce made up for that. We topped it off with a bottle of Malbec. Altogether, a good meal. The menu had some good choices, the short ribs and pork chop looked very good. One of my friends had the short ribs and enjoyed them. The waiter was a bit of a cut-up. He had a young daughter with him, about 4 years old. The waiter told us his wife was at the bar. Then, little Ruth said "drinking water". Quiet place, good for a date night or a good meal with friends. Recommended.“

“I've been here twice now after a day of skiing. The first time I thought omg this is fantastic. This second time I brought someone with me and they said it was the best rotisserie chicken they have ever had. The flavor is amazing. Juicy. Cooked to perfection. Crispy skin. I also got the tri-tip (both times) which was delicious. The spicy salsa isn't too spicy. I got the rice and beans on the side. Throwing it all into a tortilla and dipping it in the hot sauce was a 10/10 experience. Both times. The first time I took it to go and this second time I dined in. The workers are so sweet. I'll keep coming back here for my post ski meals!“

“When your kid requests a dish twice in a row for the two nights we stayed in North Tahoe, you know that it's that good. The first night we had to get it to go, the wait was an hour long and there is no way a kid will wait for food that long. Ordering the food and pick up was really easy, and staff is very friendly and patient. We ordered the gouda mac and cheese with ham, and by far one of the most flavorful mac and cheese I had. The sauce, the cheese it was just so yummy. We also got the sausage pizza which was very meaty and tasty. Second night we were lucky enough to get a table, and staff is very friendly and informative. Inside had a full sit at bar and also regular tables. The second night we ordered the same gouda mac and cheese and thai curry pizza. Was very satisfying both nights. After a day in the snow, this place hits the spot.“

“Indoor and outdoor seatings available. Excellent service. Ambiance is a 5 out of 5. Beautiful lake view if you can sit outside. We grabbed a lite bite on this beautiful day. Food was just fair though. Calamari needed more seasoning. Spicy margarita had no kick. Caesar salad was average tasty. We didn't order much so I would go try other stuff.“

“Came here on a Friday night and secured a reservation through Yelp a few hours in advance. We were seated next to the window, which offered a beautiful view of Lake Tahoe. We started with the fried ahi poke roll, which was more like a spring roll. I thought the fish would be raw, as poke usually is, but I can understand that since the roll is fried...it would make more sense for it to be cooked. We then had the crab cakes, which were very flavorful. The accompanying sauce complemented the protein very well. For the main, we shared the cioppino, which was a generous portion. We thought the broth was on the salty side, but the seafood was cooked perfectly tender. Service was friendly and on point. Highly enjoyed the upscale resort ambiance.“

“My friend and I came here for dinner on a Thursday evening after a half day of snowing. We were seated upon arrival as it was a slow day. Food: My friend and I ordered the following to share: Beet & Burrata Salad - A little small for the price, but it was pretty good Mac & Cheese - This was pretty good. It was decadent. Mushroom Risotto - This was good, but not super memorable. Beignets - These were plentiful and delicious. They were a little too crispy for my taste, but I would order again. Service: Our server was great and attentive. He was very friendly and made pleasant conversation. Our food came out promptly as well. We were fortunate that it was not busy at all. “Finally had the opportunity to experience Cottonwood for the first time for a special occasion. They didn't let us down! The rustic atmosphere was comfortable, warm and steeped in great ski and mountain history. The meals were well prepared and delicious. Jordan, our server, was most engaging, knowledgeable and customer centric. She made the evening memorable in every way. Cottonwood is now one of faves!“

“We had beef meatballs, red snapper, and pork chop. Kids loved the meatballs. They were all gone in 10 minutes. The grilled bread that came with it was very tasty. Red snapper is a chewy fish but the grilled veggies were good. The pork chop is huge and very well cooked. A good balance between fatty and lean meat, tender and juicy. Overall a very tasty American grill diner!“

“Isaiah and Juan were very caring and thorough in all the many different steps that are needed to have a funeral service as well as the transition to burial location and service . I was complimented by our family members and guests on how beautiful the ceremony was as well as the flower arrangements. We live-streamed the funeral service so that people who could not attend could watch in Korea and Georgia and Irvine. I would strongly recommend Sunnyside Mortuary to families who wants to have a memorable funeral service.“
