Got to reservation 15 minutes early, restaurant was pretty empty but they sat us at a wobbly table. Hostess was nice and said she would get us water since we were a little early. Server was ok. Kind of slow and never told us his name but he was polite and tried to fix the wobble table. When I made the reservation I did notate we were celebrating an anniversary but that was never brought up. Our server was quite lovely. He was very kind. I had made this reservation and was really looking forward to a good dinner with my husband. We got the special that came with an appetizer, on trade, and dessert for $55. My appetizer was the stuffed mushrooms and it was quite good. The entrée however, has a lot to be desired. I have the chicken piccata and part of it was not cooked all the way through. And what part I was able to eat was semi warm and tough. The dessert was OK....
My wife had the filet mignon with grilled asparagus, and a baked potato with all the fixings. She also ordered the onion soup. I had the salmon with a side of spinach and stuffed mushrooms. The filet mignon was flavorless and dry. The asparagus and baked potato were decent but the onion soup was highly over rated. The salmon was dry and plain. The side of spinach was very good and the stuffed mushrooms were pretty good. Not the best experience overall. But maybe it was an off...
