Famous Chicago Style Taco

Ordered a torta with everything other than beans. The steak had NO SEASONING. The torta barely had any sour cream on it (even though it comes with it). Being from Chicago (born and raised) there is nothing Chicago about this place. I’m giving two stars because I only tried their torta and I can’t speak for their burritos or tacos but I’m almost afraid to know because for what we paid is definitely not worth what we actually received and it’s being cooked from scratch. I hate having to give a low rating because it’s a small owned shop but this meal was incredibly disappointing. It was not seasoned and just bland. We’re always on the lookout for Chicago foods in the valley (we’ve found 2 and both are just like home) so I got excited when seeing “Chicago style”… I’m sorry but if you were born and raised in Chicago… if you know you know.. that’s all I can say and eh it’s not Chicago. Now, to be fair to them again, I can’t speak for their other items on the menu but I don’t know if I just didn’t get a good torta or if these just need help in general. I most likely won’t be back because the price did not match what was actually received.

OVERPRICED!!!
I WAS A CUSTOMER HERE FOR AT LEAST 4 YEARS. BUT WITH THESE NEW PRICES, THEY ARE TO EXPENSIVE.
65$ for 15 small tacos . anywhere else, for that price the tacos are larger and more filling. for my family of 4 this is not enough. we are still hungry! TACOS AL GORDO will be my go to from now on. at least I know I can feed my family of 4 for 50$ and all of us be full and satisfied.

We finally stopped here after hearing the food was good. We believe our experience was impacted because they were busy and unfortunately they aren’t very well setup to be busy. Our 7 tacos took half an hour to be fulfilled. It does appear that the cook cares as we believe that each order was made as fresh as possible. Being understaffed was the main issue and unfortunately negatively impacted our experience. The tacos were decent but for the price there are better options near us. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean, a lot of good to build on.

Food is good but it’s pricey compared to other places in the area. And who charges for extra sauce and drink refills? I’ve never heard of such a thing! Oh! And $1 fee for credit/debit transactions! Yeah, I will not be returning to this establishment.

The windy city frys are delish, the small size are more than enough for one person. Husband ordered the torta de pastor and he love it too. The staff is friendly and more than happy to answer questions about the menu.

Wow. This taco spot is absolutely amazing. The tacos are made fresh, fast, and the portions are a hearty size. They provide you with (3) bottles full of salsas, varying in spice level with your meal. The rice and beans that come with the combo plate are phenomenal, the beans are pertect and topped with cheese, and the rice is fluffy and flavorful.
The owner is extremely kind, as well as the server/cashier. l've been to this location twice and both times have been quality. The building is a little older on the inside, but it adds character to the restaurant | think lol.

Shame. This used to be my favorite spot for carne asada. Not anymore. I ordered an asada burrito and the burrito was stuffed with lettuce and only had a very thin layer of meat. It used to be the other way around. Lots of meat with some toppings. Apparently not anymore. Not just that - they also raised the prices. So prices were raised AND I got significantly less meat? No thanks. Won't be wasting my money here anymore.

These tacos are so fresh, so juicy, so hot (temperature) as they come out right off the griddle!
The pastor is heavenly. Everything is great, but the pastor.

Only downside is is sometimes a little warm in there during summer - but we're in Vegas. You gotta know that with two massive griddles and a tiny space, it's gonna be warm.
