So apparently this place is now called"Tamal Itas Restaurant" or Marielas at least that's what the menu hanging on the wall says. It has been under new ownership for the last few months. It's inside this flea market building all the way in the back left.I was hoping that the quality would be the same as when it was Freddy's and it IS!The owner is a very sweet woman who checked up on us multiple times. The freshness and quality was all there. The frying oil I could tell was not old so the flautas tasted fresh. I wish her the best and I recommend everyone stop by and try it.

I recently moved into the area but I do not have a car. I was deliriously craving mexican food one evening after work and up to this point I had never used food delivery services like grub hub, postmates, door dash or any other food delivery services out there, so imagine how paranoid I was not only to be having my food delivered by a stranger, but to be order mexican food from a place I had never tried before. Finding excellent mexican food for me (a person from southern california where GOOD mexican food is literally on every corner), is always a hit or miss when traveling. I took a chance and order enchilada verdes the very first time I ordered here and it was amazing. I have since then order three more times and every time I'm like whoa. I'm an enchilada person so I've tried their enchilada verdes, their enchilada rojas, and their enchilada style burrito, and all I can say is: ????? Happy customer. My order is always correct and yummy. The food is under $20 dollars, but by the time grub hub adds delivery fees, driver tip and taxes, I pay over $30 dollars every time and I am known to order from Maria's at least two or three times a week. You will NOT be dissapointed!
