Always amazing. Something for everyone in that valley. Literally mild to wild. There's a couple of pit toilets, and safe access to several camping spots with RVs or truck/trailer setups. There's dirt trails, rock trails, hardcore buggy lines, and some sand dunes! About an hour from Vegas, it's a great escape for most types of wheeling, and welcomes hiking and camping. absolutely beautiful spot for photos, picnic and especially trail riding!
This place is beautiful and definitely worth visiting. One important tip though: when you arrive, take the entrance on the left side. It’s much easier and smoother.
If you go to the right, it gets super steep with a lot of deep holes and rough terrain. I’m adding photos because if your vehicle isn’t properly prepared, you should be very careful. In that case, I’d recommend turning around and taking the left entrance instead.

Logandale Trails, located between Las Vegas and St. George, UT, provides stunning, well-maintained trails perfect for hiking, climbing, and off-roading adventures. Visitors can rent UTVs to navigate the diverse terrain, which includes muddy creek beds and challenging one-lane trails. The picturesque landscape features beautiful rock formations and Indian art along the trails, making it a hidden gem for outdoor enthusiasts. The trails also offer an exciting chance to spot unexpected wildlife, such as long-horned sheep.
The east side of the loop can be quite bumpy with large washboard roads, while the West loop consists of 90% sand. There is a steep climb to access the East loop, and for those looking to see the petroglyphs, taking the West loop first is recommended to avoid the rough road from the parking lot. A 4-wheel drive is essential for this area.
Though the trails can get busy, especially on weekends, early in the week can be quieter and more relaxing. Visitors should be mindful of the environment, as there can be litter along the trails. Regardless, the beautiful and pristine network of trails winding through the red rocks offers a unique adventure, with the main 13-mile loop accessible for any 4x4 with decent clearance, barring one intimidating rocky hill. It is crucial to pack plenty of water for a comfortable experience.
