We love the open atmosphere and the great Korean food. We bring our kids to this place and they enjoy it as well. It's actually one of our favorite restaurants. Great, healthy options and very affordable and large portions. Great place if you want vegetarian or vegan options.

First of all the food was 10/10, flavorful, fresh and fast.
Unfortunately everything comes packaged in plastic even if you choose to dine in which isn't great for the premium price, but also because hot foods in plastic(lining on cups and boxes) has been shown to leach toxic plastic chemicals and should absolutely be avoided.
Love the wooden utensils. Easily 5/5 if they de-plastify the tableware and cups and would definitely come back

We were only in town for the summer and went to Bab Cafe around 6-7 times. It is GOOD. They are extremely accommodating to food allergies and preferences, especially gluten free. The hardest part of leaving Reno is leaving this behind!!

Shoutout to the guy at the register on 10/12 around 8pm! There was a family in front of me constantly changing their order, and even with a long line behind them, he stayed super patient.
I got the kimchi fried rice with beef bulgogi on top—was worried it might be too spicy, but it was perfect. Prices were really reasonable too. Definitely coming back next time I’m in Reno!

We were excited to try this. My husband ordered the classic with pork. It was cold upon delivery even though no others were in restaurant but it had good flavor. I ordered the top bab with beef. The beef was chewy and not cut. The veggies were big chunks and it lacked flavor. The miso soup was the best part of night , and dumpling were next best. It is affordable. Also interesting they advertise on a video how to eat the bowl but then then we served in take out containers

I love this place so much! I feel great about the availability of fast nutrition, the price, and about supporting a small, unique and locally owned business. On my first visit, the owner was so kind and helpful. And on my second visit the staff was also kind and helpful. They cleaned the table immediately after another customer left and I tried to sit in the same spot.
