Shim's Tavern is a charming spot tucked away from the El Dorado parking garage. The venue features cozy booths and board games like jumbo jenga, chess, and checkers. The bar serves decent drinks, including creative cocktails. Live music performances take place on stage, usually around 8 PM, adding to the speakeasy's appeal. Visitors can also indulge in mystery shots or try their luck with a game of pool. The Bloke behind the bar is fantastic, kind and quick. Great Happy Hour with 2 for 1 drinks. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a 1900s speakeasy. Shim's Tavern is a great spot for a night out, especially with its proximity to local events and attractions.
