Reviews for Bluefin Poke Reno

Not an expert on poke bowls but with this being my first experience, I'd say it was pretty enjoyable. I typically steer more towards a traditional sushi roll if I am craving seafood but the poke bowl is a unique way of enjoying some of your favorite parts of sushi mixed together. My favorite part of this new experience is the almost unlimited options you get when making your bowl. You start by choosing your base of either white rice or brown rice, crispy wonton, or salad full review
Our teenage son is a big poke and boba fan, and we took him out to this place for lunch. The visit was great. Service was quick and friendly, the food was fresh and excellent. The fish were tasty! We all ordered different proteins, and each one was great. I ordered my bowl with brown rice (as I always do when I am given the option), but the brown rice was on a mushy side. Maybe it's a different kind of brown rice, as it's not that easy to cook brown rice mushy. The full review
This is a poke place in Reno right near courthouses, Pioneer Center, casinos and State/county bldgs. Great thing is they have boba drinks of many varieties and popping boba too! I had a boba ThaI tea with lychee. Boba teas are under $5.00. I like it that their tea cups are solid and not flimsy. The seating is nice and welcoming, nice background music and all over cool vibe. Poke bowls are ahi, spicy ahi, salmon, yellow tail with a base of rice (brown/regular, wonton chips or full review
