The filet and scampi special is amazing!!! We started with lobster bisque that was outstanding...full of nice chunks of lobster!! Our waiter Chris was the best! Highly recommend!!!

The service was very slow, there was only one poor waiter who was working about 6 tables all by himself. They should have more waitstaff during weekend nights. But other than that, we really enjoyed our time and the food was amazing.

The food was delicious. Awesome presentation and taste to match. Attentive waitstaff. Nice quiet atmosphere. Music could be heard but not overwhelming. Start to finish was great. Worth every penny. Might just be the best kept secret in the Biggest Little City. Menu is electronic backlit board. Easy to see. Nice selections on the menu.

Ribeyes were disgusting . All 4 of us had the ribeye and did not like it one bit . Ruined steaks

The steak and shrimp was absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive and we were seated promptly. If you're in Boomtown you should definitely give the steakhouse a visit, you will not be disappointed!!!

Any time we are in the area we always try to have dinner at the Steakhouse. Great service and food.

An absolutely fabulous anniversary dinner that replaced the dinner we should have had two days earlier! Our table was in a quieter section of the restaurant, but unfortunately, we heard a conversation two tables away. There were anniversary decorations scattered on the table, which was a cute gesture. We were served by John very promptly. Both of use had the 8 oz. filet mignon with shrimp scampi, broccollini, and as a first for us, for another side dish, creamy risotto. The steak was cooked perfectly for both of us at medium rare, and was so tender and delicious. The shrimp was equally delicious. We were given a dessert for the anniversary, but John also resented us with lemon squares as a taster. Very delicious, and overall a wonderful experience that we will repeat on our next visit.

Came here for an anniversary dinner. The customer service was fantastic and they took really good care of us. The food itself was good and priced fairly. We were given a complimentary cheesecake at the end and it was their best item. Great place overall.

Ribeye tonight was, and probably is every night because of the thin cut, lots of unbeatable fat, toughness, etc, very sub par. Fish is over cooked too. Very sad when Costco can do better off my grill.

We always eat at this steakhouse and have never had a bad experience until recently. Went during Street Vibrations. Not super busy, we got a table right away. I ordered prime rib loaded baked potatoe and salad. Husband ordered Halibut loaded baked potato and calamari. Husbands food came first, no baked potatoe - came with risotto instead. He was hungry so just said it was ok. Fish was DRY and risotto was not his favorite. My food came when he was just about done eating .Plate dropped off - waitress walked away. I received a filet with grilled shrimp and mashed potatoes. Not what I ordered. Waitress took the food back and finally my dinner came out. Prime rib was great. Plain potatoe no butter or toppings vegetables were cold and plain. Ate only the prime rib. Waitress finally came back and brought the loaded baked potatoe toppings but we were already over it at this point. She tells us she had given her 2 weeks notice and that the kitchen was upset with her for screwing up orders. Ok... Ended up paying $150 bucks for a very chaotic and un-enjoyable meal.
Very sad - was our go to steakhouse...

If you want a great steak cooked to perfection, this is the place to order it. We all got to steak and it was all cooked perfectly. We all got loaded, baked potatoes, and they were delicious too.

Wifey and I live locally and just tried this place for the first time. We are more that happy with our experience. Our server John was more than attentive. The food was perfectly cooked and presentation was superb. Definitely best bang for your buck in Reno. Mucho appreciated.

This was the best restaurant in in the Reno area. I spent 3 years in Italy, eating the cuisine of the region and I had chicken marsala the first time and I absolutely loved it. I never found any place here in the states that measured up to the taste of the dish I tasted in Italy.... until I ate at the Boomtown steakhouse. It was better than the dish I had in Italy. It was so delicious. I could hardly explain to my wife how wonderful it was. I would recommend this dish to everyone who chooses this. John was the waiter that we had and he was very personal and professional and caring and very attentive. I'll be coming back here soon.

Called to make a reservation two days in a row, both times got voicemail. I finally made it online. They did call me back on the third day. I specifically ask for server Laura. When the two other people arrived before us, they sat them ahead of time but not in Laura's area. I told them I had made the request over the phone. The gal looked it up and said she missed it. Since the two had been seated we let it go. Very disappointed that it took 3 days to call me back, and we did not get our server we requested. Details should be a priority when making requests.
