Briscola

Briscola has treated me well over the years of coming to the GSR, and I'm sad to see that it's on its last few months of existence. It has provided me and my friends a place to find delicious pasta dishes at a reasonable price. As someone who comes to the GSR yearly, I've always made it a point to dine at Briscola at some point during my stay, often twice. Excellent wait staff! From the hostess to the bus boy and everyone in between, the service was awesome! In general, the food was good. Garlic bread was brought to the table prior to ordering. We ordered a cup of minestrone soup and calamari to start with pesto and creamy marinara sauce which was outstanding. I really should have listened to my fellow yelpers on this one. I thought people were being a little harsh when comparing to Olive Garden but sadly, they were not. The ONLY reason I'm giving the 3rd star is because the service was really good. I LOVE taking pictures of the food to post but sadly nothing was picture worthy.
