Great cafe off the I-80 in West Reno!
Looking for a good spot in West Reno or a spot to stop cruising along the 80??? This is your place! This is a “double” review as I had lunch here yesterday and breakfast this morning…
First off, the staff is very friendly and hip! Everyone is very nice. The cafe itself is very modern and bright, offering tons of natural light and lots of tables to enjoy a meal and/or some “remote” work. There are high-tops, regular tables, and couches to choose from.
Food wise, I am very impressed by the quality of the food offerings. For lunch I ordered the Chicken Salad Sando and for breakfast I had the PB & Banana Toast and a Cappuccino. The Chicken Salad Sandwich was served on a thick wheat bread, but nothing intimidating. The thick bread actually helps in not making the sandwich get soggy. Ingredients are high quality and the taste is very good. As for breakfast, the cappuccino was great and the PB & Banana Toast offered a generous amount of PB and comes with a nice coating of honey as well.
Overall, great spot and would recommend to anyone!

I just paid over $8.00 for a latte here! What is going on here? Loved the latte, and the atmosphere but this is pathetic!

I’ve been here twice - once I got a golden latte, it tasted great. The other day I got an iced matcha and threw it out after one sip. It looked grey green, rather than bright green and basically just tasted like lukewarm oat milk, I’m guessing they’re using low quality matcha. I get that they’re called Coffeebar, not Teabar so maybe I shouldn’t have had high expectations. But it’s pretty frustrating to pay almost $8 for an undrinkable drink.

Service was great, but the chorizo burrito is literally the smallest burrito I’ve ever seen. More akin to a rolled taco!! For over $10 I’d expect to need more than 8-10 bites to consume the whole thing. I’m in my third trimester and it didn’t even fill my stomach, which is quite a feat.
No latte art at this Coffeebar location? The barista this morning was lazy, unfriendly, and selective on who she poured latte art for. Odd as I left a tip upfront. ?
Lady taking the order up front was very nice and welcoming

Coffee is fresh and delicious. Their egg sandwich is amazing, along with the caprese sandwich. Worth every penny spent here!

I didn't have a great experience here at all. The girl cashier was impatient with me looking away and making moves even though I mentioned her this was my first time, then she changed her attitude to my friend out of the nowhere.
The one thing that I didnt like the most is that the girl in the back making the drinks ask the cashier if we tip.
So, is there a difference on coffe quality or processing duen to low or high tips?
Bad training, I wont be coming back with staff like that. The place looks great though
