This place used to be the best sandwich house in Reno. It’s sad that the bread they serve now is not what they used to have. Onion roll. No longer exist. Have to get Swiss onion terrible. chicken salad recipe has changed. They did this once before back in the day, then changed it back. Chicken salad sandwich is the only one I’ve been getting since 95. Wish I could get that sandwich back.

It doesn't matter if they are busy or not, it is going to take at least an hour to get a sandwich. You have to call ahead, and add 40 minutes to whatever they say.

The guy behind the counter making our sandwich was very rude.He did not have a name tag on, but was the only male I saw in the store. After waiting 15 minutes, I asked how much longer it would be. After asking where I placed the order, told him at the kioske, he went to where the tickets print out, and says, oh, here it is. He said about 10 minutes. There was not 1 person in the store! In the 15 minutes we were there they had produced 1 sandwich. This is not the same customer service they had in the past. So sad. I have been a customer there since they 1st opened. No more.

These sandwiches are the best in town. All the food is amazing! Staff could be a little friendlier and considerate when people are in the first time and dont know the kiosk well. Customers are not an inconvenience. But the food is amazing...

We as a company absolutely love this place and all of us have been going here since high school. To this day the food is amazing. How ever the service Is always so so for people working have slight attitudes and also the food takes forever like no joke. If your any kinds of time frame or a rush definitely don’t go here. It doesn’t matter if there is 1 or 6 people behind the counter making food or 1-5 people waiting for food it’s always ridiculously long. Like we are just making sandwiches here… I understand there is probably online orders or call ins. But your people standing in front of you buying sandwich’s should be first priority everytime. I’m not saying don’t make others food I’m simply saying prioritize the people who show up and support your store.

Reno’s Sub Game Will Never Be the Same – Thanks to Deli Town USA

Listen… I’ve lived in Reno long enough to know a good sandwich when I taste one — and Deli Town USA doesn’t just make good sandwiches. They make sub-sational masterpieces that put every other deli in town to shame. I’m talking next-level bread, meats, cheese, toppings — the kind of sandwich that makes you pause mid-bite and question every life decision that led you to eat anything else before this.

I've been coming here since they opened back in the early 2000s, and not once — not once — have I had a bad sandwich. That's consistency you can build a relationship on. Honestly, if I could legally marry a sub, it’d be from Deli Town. Sorry, fiancée.

The bread selection alone deserves its own reality show. We're talking soft, fresh, chewy, with just the right crunch when toasted. And the pre-made subs? GENIUS! You’ll find them chilling in the cooler, ready to save your night (or your hangover).

Customer service? Top-tier. These folks actually care about the food and the people they serve. You’re not just another order — you’re part of the Deli Town family. And they treat you like it.

If you live in Reno and haven’t had Deli Town… I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed. Go fix that. Get yourself a sub. Thank me later.

Would not recommend ordering a sandwich with gluten free bread. Wife got it to the park and opened it up and the thing literally fell apart. Maybe they should just not offer it if it won’t stay together. We called and they offered to remake it but we didn’t see how that would solve the problem so we got a refund so that was decent of them.

I hate to leave A one star review, but this place has gotten worse and worse. Their service is horrible. They’re not very nice to the customers, :50 minutes for one sandwich is ridiculous. Come on deli town fix your issues. A once longtime customer

Absolutely fantastic sandwiches! I don’t understand what the deal is, but the service (friendliness) from the staff when picking up orders is just about always negative, I continually feel like I’m an inconvenience for picking up my lunch!

What a cool spot to eat, my wife and I decided to finally stop there and give it a try. We were not disappointed, and the atmosphere was like that of an old country store. You have to try it if you haven't yet.
