I came in here to pick up a doordash order. The girl at the desk was rude to me for absolutely no reason. If you want nice people to help you its not here

The food was amazing and the service was spectacular. Our server gave us great insight on ordering which was much appreciated.
What a delicious meal. Fresh oysters artistically presented. Flavorful varied salad. Tender scampi. Mouthwatering New York steak. Creme brulee and ice cream sundae. Very reasonably priced. It's our new go to!
Great service by Hannah and Alyssa on the Sunset Menu! 3 courses for $29 or $34 (steak) is a great value for 2026!
We went here for a late dinner. The prices were so reasonable. Great food and service.

Nice place, good service but the Rib Eye was pretty marginal and the Bernaise sauce was terrible and tasteless. Bread and relish tray were quite good.
Amazing, as always! Perfect service from Angel, who has impeccable manners and had us laughing all night. Food was delightful, steak cooked just right. One of my favorite dining experiences in Reno.
I stay at the hotel next door often and I usually go to bed hungry. I see advertisements for the casino all of the time. I decided to give The DC Cafe a try. I asked the server for their recommendations and after a few I narrowed it down to two and went with Chicken Parm. It was freakin amazing!!

Nevada Steak at Nevada Steak delivers a refined and comfortable steakhouse experience that feels elevated without being pretentious. Located inside the Tamarack Casino, the restaurant manages to separate itself from the typical casino dining atmosphere, offering a calm polished setting with attentive professional service that immediately sets the tone for a quality meal. We dined using the Sunset Menu, which is an excellent value and thoughtfully structured to provide a full three course experience. From the start, the pacing of the meal felt intentional and relaxed, allowing each course to be enjoyed without feeling rushed. The pork appetizer was a strong opening to the evening. It was flavorful and well seasoned, with a richness that felt indulgent while still being balanced. The portion size was ideal for sharing and did a great job setting expectations for the quality of the kitchen. The salads that followed were fresh and well composed. The greens were crisp and vibrant, and the dressings were balanced without being heavy. This course worked perfectly as a transition into the main dishes, providing brightness and contrast before the heartier entrees. For the main courses, the filet mignon stood out as the highlight of the meal. It was cooked precisely to the requested temperature, exceptionally tender, and full of natural beef flavor. The seasoning allowed the quality of the meat to shine, and the accompanying sides complemented the steak without overpowering it. For a Sunset Menu offering, the filet felt generous and thoughtfully executed. The chicken entree was equally impressive. It was moist and well seasoned, avoiding the dryness that often plagues chicken dishes at steakhouses. The preparation felt elevated and comforting at the same time, making it an excellent option for those looking for something lighter while still enjoying a high quality main course. Dessert concluded the meal on a refreshing note with sorbet ice cream. It was smooth and clean
We were celebrating a birthday and it was a perfect spot. Excellent service with server, being especially accommodating and even anticipating and anticipating. Some preferences. Definitely recommend for special occasion or the early bird dinner.

We went for the early bird menu. It was beyond what we expected. The service was exceptional. The food was perfect. The value is unbelievable. I had the chicken, it was done perfectly and was vwry tender. The only thing I might suggest, is reconfigure the salad it was slighly boring. Would go again for sure!
We stopped by this time to check out one of their restaurants, DC Cafe.
We were greeted by Nelson, who was doing double duty as both cashier and host—always appreciated when employees step up to help where needed.
Our server, Shane, was also great! He took care of all my requests and remained fast, friendly, and efficient throughout our visit.
The food was pretty good. The clam chowder was thick, just the way I prefer it, and the sliders and fried chicken were good as well.
They got busy quickly, and it was nice to see two of their managers on the floor helping out—Nate, whom I spoke with briefly, and Nelson.
I would recommend DC Cafe—lots of menu options to choose from, and the prices were reasonable.

Service and ambiance was great. The food was very good. The lobster bisque was ok, the steak was tender and cooked perfectly, as were the green beans. The mashed potatoes were mashed, would've liked to see some flare. Overall a tremendous value for the sunset price! Probably not was high end as some other local steakhouses where they put your napkin in your lap etc, but definitely well worth it!
Love the sunset dinner menu. Lobster bisque was excellent! Their salmon is delicious! My husband enjoyed his shrimp dish and the deserts were tasty! No complaints. Service was very attentive but not obtrusive. Definitely recommend!!
The food was great and service superb! It was our anniversary and staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful evening. Thank you Tamarack.
