Nevada Steak offers an enjoyable dining experience with excellent service from Kathy and the training staff. The ambiance is pleasant, particularly in the sectioned-off area away from the bar, and the moody lighting adds to the atmosphere. The five entrees tried were all beautifully presented, hot, and tasty. However, the ginger-honey sauce served with the lamb chops could be toned down as it is quite spicy. The French onion soup stood out, being the best tried, and not too salty. The freshly baked bread and relish tray were also highlights. Desserts, like the pots de creme and lemon strawberry shortcake, were delicious. While some dishes may need improvement, such as the filet mignon and asparagus, the overall service and food quality place Nevada Steak in the top three for many visitors.
