Placed an online order for coffee beans and almost a month later, it still had not shipped. I checked my inbox and had no email about any kind of delay. Called multiple times (there was no email listed on the site) and left a voicemail politely explaining the situation and just wanted to know if I could get the coffee sent or get a refund and never received a call back. If you don't want to send out orders from your online shop, maybe don't have one. I don't recommend buying anything here.

The only way to start your mornings off in Reno. The owner is attentive and takes pride in their craft. I love supporting small businesses and this business is one that I will forever support. Thanks Nick and Kyle!

These guys have by far the best-tasting coffee. It's roasted to perfection, and they do a great job with the coffee drinks. Highly recommend you buy whole beans and try at home. Amazing!

Really wanted to love this place. There’s a ton of potential! The concept is great. Aesthetic and branding is excellent, logo is nice, love that they integrate the knives with coffee (perfect for “forged”). Even the bartender/barista/roaster’s look is on brand. He was very friendly when I visited!Location is right in the heart of Reno. Bit hard to find - it’s in a building labeled “J” (for Jesse hotel). When you finally make your way past the doors on the Main Street that are locked, go into the gated parking lot to the main door, it’s a bar with an espresso machine and a coffee dripper. I literally asked “where is the coffee shop?” and they said “you’re in it”. Lol.Lots of homeless (we counted 18 people) in the alleyway next door, so be careful, esp if alone. My americano was decent. The beans seemed well-roasted but the shot wasn’t fully dialed. There were 2 bags of beans for purchase that had almost no info - only the logo, origin, tasting notes. No elevation, no process, no info on producer, but the cardinal sin… no roast date. In modern coffee roasting, roast date is mission-critical for a “good shop”.Potential for the business is huge - highly recommend the owner buying a bag from George Howell (Boston) or Onyx an incorporating best practices! Roast dates are a must!!I hope to be back in Reno in 1-2 years and I will check back in!!

This felt more like a bar than a coffee shop. Had to walk through a side entrance instead of a main entrance? Why have a nice main entrance right off a very walkable busy sidewalk to just close it off to the public? No visible signs to indicate there was coffee, alcohol or even a hotel here. Just one sign with a "J" on it. The espresso was just okay, mid at best. I've had better espresso at more easily accesible places in Reno. The bartender was friendly but even the sizes are so small, it barely qualifies as a coffee shop. My danish was bigger than my coffee and as someone who loves coffee I was very sad to see their largest size was only 12 ounces.

A hidden gem! Nick made me the most delicious oat milk latte. This place is such a vibe, it's located at the Jesse hotel- they have their own parking lot so you don't have to worry about parking. 1000% recommendParking: They have their own parking lotDietary restrictions: Non dairy milk (oak milk)

Forged goes hard. Best specialty coffee in Northern Nevada. Cup of coffee and a slice of pie might be one of the best deals you can find in the whole city. Not to mention that The Jesse is a beautiful space. I always make a point to stop in whenever I visit from Seattle.
