The Jesse Coffee is a bar, a morning coffee stop, and a small boutique hotel in Reno. The atmosphere and decor are perfect for a study sesh or getting out of the house. The space is bright and comfortable, with fresh flowers and handmade ceramic cups from Turkey. The coffee is great, and fresh pastries are available daily from Belove’d. The bar has a beautiful outdoor patio/garden area where amazing Mexican inspired eats are delivered. Tacos were excellent, and the crab tostada is unforgettable. The Habenero cocktail and La Diablita are tasty and full of flavor. The focus is tequila and mezcal, but there is excellent scotch too. The bar tenders are kind, funny, and awesome, offering unique cocktail experiences. Every Thursday and Sunday morning, people drop in for chess. The hotel rooms are the best in Reno, with large exposed brick walls, tall showers with subway tile, and a very comfortable bed. The neighborhood is not the best part of town, but inside is an oasis, safe, and has a parking lot. Prices are very reasonable.
