This is my favorite go-to places in Reno. I came here in 2016 and more often again in 2020 and I just find the food is great. The staff are wonderful and the service is great, though it can get busy during the weekends.

We let the waitress know that the ahi on the sandwich was really fishy when we told her and she told us lots of people have been complaining about it and they are looking for a new distributor. So we paid $17 for a bland fishy sandwich that you know is bad, so take it off the menu or take it off the bill when people tell you what you already know!! We both have worked and been managers in the restaurant business and this was not the kind of service that is acceptable. There are so many other places we can go in this town to actually not have to spit our food into our napkin it’s so bad. And we didn’t get checked on to say anything before getting the check and my daughter was shaking starving so yah.

Great food and beer, I really enjoy this location due to the selection of the menu. I like that they use local meat from park ranch and that they have a bigger selection of actual dinner entrees. We will definitely be back to this location.

Not super familiar with Great Basin and their beer. But I appreciated the curve balls I got. The pizza was standard but solid, good pepperoni crispy chewy crust, standard mozzarella. Good for a 12" at 16.50. The beer? The Tectonic was a punchy Double Imperial IPA, but crushable despite the bitterness. Their lager was perfect, and the blueberry lemonade sour was tart but also enjoyable, not a tongue-cloying bastard. The Cantaloupe Wit tempted me, but the High Desert Hefe was an edge above my favorite beer, Franziskaner. Just good balance, and the 'Tender knew theirs was closer to Weihenstephaner, and I'd say it beats out both them and Franziskaner. And I don't say THAT lightly, Franziskaner has been my favorite for the better part of 10-15 years.

Good little brewpub here. Will definitely come back to try the BBQ and all the other beers on draft.

We come here quite often and usually the food is pretty good, today however it was inedible, gross. The food wasn’t seasoned at all, everything was just fried and when you cut into something water would just drip everywhere from under the fried part. The meat tasted old, like it was in the fridge for too long. I had to get something else as a snack from somewhere else mostly just to get the taste out of my mouth. Not going back anytime soon

I would give 6 stars for service if I could. We were a large group. I phoned ahead and the hostess put us on the waitlist. More showed up than expected, but we were all seated within 20 minutes if arrival as the staff quickly arranged 2 large tables for us. THEN, they took orders by family (an after sports event) so that kids could sit together. Food arrived in a timely manner and checkout was a snap. Great beer and family friendly food. Thank you so much, Great Basin.

Potato skins were terrible. Chicken was terrible. Beer was good. Won't be back unless I don't plan on eating.

Sister-in-law ordered the garlic pizza. De-lish! Perfect crust. Brother-in-law order the Reuben- also fab. We both ordered the Ahi Salad. Don't bother. 5 bites of Ahi for the price on a basic bag of salad mix. Stick with the heavy pub food. Beer ? on the next visit.
We arrived shortly after opening and this place was busy! Servers were fine, although less than enthusiastic. Perhaps this establishment is more of a hi and bye place?
With trying. Just order the heavy bar foods for the meal.

Just dined in with my family and the food was delicious 10/10. High quality flavorful food.

We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, fried chicken sandwich, Mac attack burger (subbed the pretzel for a brioche bun), and salmon tacos.

The buns were fresh and very good. Their sauces were very tasty. We got the bbq and ranch. Fries AMAZING.

The drunken jalapeño poppers were absolutely delicious. Definitely coming back.

Kid-friendliness: Good kid options.
