IHOP in Reno

“We use to go there alot food and service was great but the lady normally there was not,2 other servers. After waiting 20 minutes I had to get there attention just to take our order and they each had only 2 tables when they finally did take our order the foreign lady brought it out wrong never checked on us once,then to top it off had to chase her down to pay for it pretty sad!! Susie wish you weren't off that day she's the best waitress there!“

“Every Time I come to this Ihop Orlando makes me feel like I'm at home. He recognizes us as we walk in and greets us with a smile at the door. He remembers our orders too and even brings ranch without us asking! He is the greatest. We're vegetarian so we are a pain in the ass to serve but he does so with unmatched pleasentness. #OrlandoforIHOPCEO2026“

“I haven’t been to an IHOP in 20 some years. Today I decided to go in because I do love pancakes! Well, the weather was really bad and it started snowing while I was in the restaurant, so it made it nice to be inside and able to look out the windows at the snow coming down.

There is kind of a hustle and bustle atmosphere in the restaurant. But, being patient, and waiting for your waitress isn’t very bad at all. When I walked in, I was greeted right away and offered a seat. Since I was by myself, I was put in a single booth, but it was just too small for my big 6 foot body.

When my lovely waitress showed up, I let her know and she said no problem. "Just come on over here", she said, and I moved to a larger table. How nice! Now, mind you, this place is old. It’s been in the same location for 40 years. It’s a little dated, and it could be cleaner, but I came here for the pancakes!

I couldn’t believe the extensive menu they have. Their menu has expanded and includes a lot more than just pancakes. In fact, pancakes are the least items on the menu. Before I forget, there is a amazing event, and I really don’t want to tell everyone about it. I don’t wanna tell everyone because I wanna keep it to myself. Well, I can’t keep a secret.

National pancake day, who knew? yes, national pancake day you get a free short stack of pancakes at IHOP! OMG! Now, I’m not gonna tell you the date, but if you look at the photos that I post, I have a picture in there that has the date and the time and, I’m going to be there for my free cakes.

Anyway, I had the blueberry pancakes with butter pecan syrup, WHAT? Yes, I didn’t expect a whole lot from a chain, franchise pancake store, but they brought it! Those pancakes were good. Thank you to the cooks and the waitress who brought them while they were still perfectly hot and covered with blueberries and blueberry sauce and yeah.

I had to slow my ROLL, because I was kinda hungry and those pancakes were going down the pipe pretty quick! I must’ve looked like a refugee from some Third World country the way I was eating them pancakes. So, yeah, I didn’t wanna look like that, so I tried to slow down and take maybe one bite at a time, but, that fork just wouldn’t stop shoveling those four beautiful pancakes into my mouth.

Sorry everybody, not sorry! I know I can be nice and I’ll see you guys there on the free pancake day. I’ll be the one who finishes the pancakes in about 30 seconds!“
