It's very sad to see Luciano's go. We truly enjoyed our meals there over the past several years and will miss this place. The food was excellent and reminiscent of classic Northern Italian restaurants.

I don't know how this place is getting such bad ratings. Growing up in an Indiana suburb of Chicago with an Italian grandmother I know good Italian when I see it & this is it! The salad was amazing with super fresh ground pepper that the waitress ground right in front of us. The homemade meatballs and homemade sausage were so soft. The sauce with the sausage and penne was spicy and fresh. Service was quick. The decorations were very similar to Italian households and restaurants I had been to back home. And the company was great! All of the staff wished us a Merry Christmas on our way out. Glad I ignored the lower ratings and listened to coworkers' recommendations to go here.

Horrible service again. Gross, soggy tiramisu AGAIN. Sorry, we tried. First time the food was good, same bad service though. Same embarrassment of a tiramisu. Food was inconsistent and we were charged $350 on an $81 tab. Takes DAYS to recover.

By far my favorite restaurant experience in Reno. I was on a quest to find the best Italian restaurant while I was here on vacation. Hands down, this was it! The food was authentic. The staff was genuine. The atmosphere was fun and friendly.... the owner, Luciano visited us at our table and gave us baci & abbracci (cheek kisses & hugs) when we left. Wow, what an incredible dining experience. ♡
Food is excellent. However, service needs improvement. One time the server was too busy watching football and today there was only 1 server running around like a chicken with it's head cut off.

We dine at Luciano's several times a year. Their pastas and especially the raviolis are among the best in Reno. Their bolognese sauce is the best in town. The raviolis are house made. Their mushroom raviolis are also outstanding. The kitchen was slow on this visit but all out entrees came out at the same time and were piping hot. Portions are substantial. The caprese salad was excellent, my Caesar salad was very average with a mediocre dressing. Usually the Caesar is top notch. The bar is also good. The kitchen was short staffed on this visit. We would return.

Luciano's is our favorite Italian restaurant and special occasion choice! They have a homey atmosphere, and great food and service. Their chicken parmigiana is amazing! They are always busy, so it's best to have reservations, but they will take walk-ins.
