Most all things can be made vegan except the curries (server said shrimp paste in the curry). Vegan Thai iced tea is a treat. Have had multiple dishes and been extremely satisfied. Usually go for dine in on weekends— positive energy with full house but not bad waits.

Absolutely love Moo Dang — the food, the service, and the incredibly kind people who work there! We were a large group of about 40 with no reservation on a rainy evening (after being turned away by another nearby restaurant), and Moo Dang graciously accommodated us even though they were already quite busy. The food was top-notch — authentic, flavorful Thai cuisine. My cousin, who grew up in Bangkok and has spent years there, said it was the best Thai food she’s had outside of Bangkok!
We’ve been back several times since and recommend it to everyone. Too good — highly, highly recommend!

I’ve always enjoyed Thai food, and Moo Dang has been one of my favorite restaurants in town for a long time. However, during my recent visit, I had an uncomfortable experience. The waitress insisted that I leave a tip, mentioning that “it’s culture here,” which made me feel pressured. In my opinion, tipping should come from genuine appreciation for great service, not from obligation. It’s meant to acknowledge someone’s extra effort or skill, not to be treated as a mandatory practice. Personally, I’d rather show gratitude in other ways, such as offering someone a meal, than being told what I should give. Having worked part-time myself, I understand what it means to earn fairly and take pride in one’s work without expecting more from customers. I hope the management takes this feedback constructively. Thank you!!

I had heard from a friend how good this place is, and it didn't disappoint. Each dish was well prepared and appropriately presented. I had never had soup with a coconut milk broth. It had a nice light lemony taste. Also, the vegetable pad Thai was excellent!

Moo Dang is by far the best Thai restaurant in Reno. The food is amazing, full off flavor and love. The staff is super friendly and the place has a unique ambiance. I love their Green Papya Salad, E-san style! Their curries are so amazing. Lots of fresh veggies and a lovely beer selection. The establishment is always clean. Grab a Tshirt! I own like 5 already as they are really unique and fun to wear.

I wish this place was in my neighborhood! I absolutely loved the Chicken noodle soup. So fresh! Great broth, tender chicken and the noodles were perfect. My other guests really enjoyed their food as well. The staff was kind and attentive. Looking forward to another trip to Reno so I can try more items.
