10 stars! absolutely the best poke bowl I've ever had! staff were so down to earth & welcoming.. lifetime customer over here!
This is a casual spot with great food. I usually do take out but seating is available. The Kalbi (short ribs) and katsu (fried chicken) is delicious 😋 I love their rice with soy and the Mac salad. I recently discovered Mochiko Chicken...so yummy taste like fried chicken sushi.

Loco Ono - Poke & Hawaiian BBQ in Reno offers delicious Hawaiian food with large portions and many options. The mochiko chicken is highly praised, with one reviewer saying it tastes just like their Auntie’s, and others describing it as delightful. Garlic chicken is also highly recommended, described as amazing and crispy with a light batter. The Loco Moco is considered the best many have had, and the teriyaki beef and garlic chicken in lunch plates are very authentic and flavorful. The macaroni salad is nearly as good as homemade, though some find it a bit mayo-heavy. The staff is friendly, and the service is fast, making it a great spot for lunch or dinner. Music can be a little loud, but it’s not bothersome. Portions are generous, and prices are decent, offering good value for the money. Many visitors enjoy ordering to go, especially the mochiko chicken, which is recommended to be ordered online for quicker pickup. Overall, Loco Ono is a favorite for authentic Hawaiian food in Reno.
