The food is good but a bit overpriced for what it is. Can't really speak about service as you order at the counter and take a number. Atmosphere is clinically clean and spartan. Seems to cater to a crowd similar to Bay Area suburban type. Not terrible but definitely not great.
Perenn has a lot of potential to be great, but after coming here regularly for the last few months has made me question that.
Let's start with the good:
Atmosphere: Aesthetically pleasing on the inside, fairly spacious
Food: One of the very few places that has different options for breakfast that isn't the basic American breakfast combo.

Good place to have coffee with a desert. However, I tried the avocado toast and the taste was pale, I mean almost $13 for a bread with half avocado sliced over it? Maybe a touch of creativity on the food or at least some effort to make it taste better.
The only reason keeps me visiting is the latte and croissant.
