We started with the Coconut Crusted shrimp. The shrimp was perfect because I love crispy, but the housemade sauce for dipping was to die for. We ordered the Spyder Roll, but wasn't as thrilled with that. Next we got the Orange Chicken which is a large enough portion to share. It was delicious. We enjoyed it so much we can't wait to go back.
We arrived on a Friday night at about 8:15pm to find that the restaurant had closed even though closing time is 9:00pm. Made a reservation for the second night, restaurant was empty and we were seated accross the way. We did not get to experience the quiet ambiance of the restaurant but were instead seated next to casino slots and loud music.
I used the GSR App to book a table at The Rim through Open Table.
I was seated promptly and greeted by Fernando Lemel who helped me find what I wanted. I enjoyed the pot stickers and the Golden Gate roll which was new to the menu.
I wanted some hot saki and Fernando suggested a lechee one that was floral and delicious.
I’ll be making a return trip soon, so good.
