Our server took our order, our soup and appetizers were out quickly and good , but that's where it gets ugly. Our server was nowhere to be seen for 45 minutes until another table had the same experience so they complained to the manager. After our appetizers and soup, we were supposed to order our entree, but we waited so long, we just wanted to leave.
We were meeting family we hadn't seen in a long time for dinner, and this location was convenient. The menu was quite extensive with something for everybody. Everyone liked their meals and the shared desserts. Portions were generous. The music was quite loud, as it seemed to be everywhere at GSR, making conversation challenging. Wait staff were professional and friendly. Our only complaint was that we felt that they were trying to rush us out at 8:30 (from a 7:30 reservation),...
First time I've been to a sushi place where if you order all you can eat sushi you have to sit at the bar even if you're with people who are ordering Asian food and not sushi. It makes group dining less pleasurable because you can't sit and talk with the people you went to dinner with.
