My husband and I had Macaroni Grill cater our pasta bar at our welcome party the night before our wedding and we LOVED it! They were great to work with and everybody couldn’t stop talking about how great the food was! I would definitely recommend working with Lance and Brandon for any of your catering needs!

Had a birthday party here. Staff went out of their to make sure each and every guest were well taken care of. Gave us our own space. Cheery atmosphere. Clean. Food was outstanding. They have great lunch specials too. Highly recommended.

Just awful. Went on a Sunday about 1:30pm Three staff members and 3-4 tables. Didn't see any staff in kitchen. Waited about 5-10 minutes before someone seated us. Waited another 10 minutes before server came over. Baked prosciutto mozzarella: cheese was rubbery and cold while the meat was stiff, like it had been under a warming lamp for a while. Mama's Trio: Chicken Parm was burnt on the ends. Lasagna and Alfredo were both cold. Server did offer to see if "he could warm it up a bit" The food tasted like it had been re-heated from the night before... again, we did not see anyone working in the kitchen. Even the Chianti seemed stale and flat like it had been opened days before. We've been to other locations and really enjoyed the food. This place was just awful. Won't be going back

Where to begin the food was eh i ordered fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, the chicken was bland and overcooked it didn’t even look appetizing at all, and the noodles were hard, this was my 1 experience there and I can say I am not coming back. Service was okay the waitress we had was fine it was the waiter who sat us down who kept mean mugging us and made me feel uncomfortable he hehe and haha with the other patrons but as soon as he glance over at my table his whole face would change made for an uncomfortable experience. Definitely wouldn’t recommend going back.

Stuffed mushrooms appetizer was great and fettuccine dish was fine. Lobster bisque was burned. Had to send it back. Steaks were okay. Shrimp on salad was also burned. Server did best she could but was overwhelmed because 2 people called in. Overall was a terrible experience. They did offer things to compensate for the experience and heard our concerns, which was appreciated. Won't be returning though.

Got here around 5, just a few other tables occupied, which stayed that way through 6pm- not a busy place. Service was good, food was just okay- salads, bread, lobster bisque were all rather bland; my pasta was tasty. The key lime pie wasn't very limey. Prices were reasonable for overpriced 2024 Reno. Overall I'd say it's a little inferior to Olive Garden, we'll next try Skillopini's in Summit Mall to compare. This place is just ok, nothing great.
Haven't been to a Macaroni Grill in a long time, but it was better than ever! As a vegan I had multiple pasta dishes to choose from. The ambiance was incredible and my server, Brittany, was the best.
I would recommend them most highly!!

We came during the daytime. Initially, we intended to go to Mimi's Cafe, but it was literally a ghost town, so we walked out of there and headed towards Chillis, but Chillis is undergoing repairs due to a fire so that was closed. We saw Macaroni Grill was close by. My wife and I hadn't eaten there since we were teenagers, and we were reluctantly like oh well, I guess we'll go try it out.
To our pleasant surprise, the interior was absolutely wonderful and there were many patrons there enjoying their meals. The service, from the way we were greeted and seated, to how polite, professional, and personable our waitress was, was refreshing.
Having had sour experiences with the service industry in general in Reno/Sparks, we were overjoyed by the experience we were having. When the appetizer arrived (stuffed mushrooms), we knew we were going to be in for a treat with the entrees, and we were. I had a lighter fare (less than 600 calories for the plate) and it was very tasty, not salty, just seasoned just right. All of the plates were exceptional, highlighting the great care that had gone into them (my wife had a shrimp pasta, and my son had the truffle mac n cheese, I can't pronounce what I had, but they were pasta dumplings with cheese and tomato sauce).
All in all, I couldn't believe how good Macaroni Grill was. All these years I had avoided it over Olive Garden, but it's in a league of its own. I much prefer it to the other Italian restaurants in Reno.

We went for Sunday brunch & were seated promptly without a reservation. I had SHRIMP PORTOFINO which is one of my favorite dishes & my friend had lasagna which she said was delicious… we both took a portion of our meal home as they were large portions. Our waiter was very friendly & attentive. The restaurant has an elegant ambiance although there were children with parents dining there. Prices were reasonable.. I regret not taking photos of our delicious meals. I would definitely recommend the Macaroni Grill. There is plenty of FREE parking. Tables & booths are available. ???
