Sadly, this was only a 3 star. If you are looking for delicious food and atmosphere with low level noise., this isn't for you(and wasn't for me). Take your $ and go to Ruth's. That was a 5 star all around, the steaks AMAZING.
Isabel was our server and she was absolutely amazing! She was so sweet, attentive, and quite to continuously check on us and refill our drinks. My prime rib was a bit on the cooler side, I tend to like my food piping hot. I also wish people with small kids that don't know how to sit still or are loud would be sat in a separate area. Love the music at the Roxy's lounge! We came back later that night for drinks and music! A must before we go home after our Reno Trips!
Our server Karli was very pleasant and attentive. I had Prime Rib which is always outstanding. It's spiced just right and extremely tender and flavorful. We visit Roxy's every time we visit Reno.
We made a reservation for their Thanksgiving dinner special ($75.99 per person). We called to see if they had an earlier time available but was told no, 8pm was the earliest time they had. When we arrived we were seated at a table near the back right next to another family, who was nonstop cussing loudly the entire duration. When we asked to order the Thanksgiving special (which was on the menu onto us) the waiter informed us that they had conveniently ran out of turkey, and there will be no substitutions offered. Instead we need to pay for each part of the menu individually, including the appetizers, the entree, and dessert. This means we have to pay an additional $20-40 per person more than if we had gotten the Thanksgiving special. Of course we were not happy with this and walked out. At that price, we might as well gone to the $85 Thanksgiving buffet at the Atlantis casino, which ironically might still have turkey left as well as more food options. The best part was as we walked out we stopped by several of the other in-casino restaurants, including the Gordon Ramsey Kitchen and The Brew Brothers, to see if they ran out of turkey - nope! Looks like this is a problem unique only to the Roxy. In summary, save your money. If you can afford to eat at the Roxy, you can definitely afford to eat somewhere much, much nicer as well.
We had dinner at Roxy this evening. The food was good, and the service was truly outstanding. Our server, Eric, delivered a level of hospitality that reminded me of Michelin-starred restaurants. As a frequent world traveler who has dined in countless places, I honestly did not expect to receive this standard of service in the United States. Eric paid attention to every little detail and made us feel relaxed and genuinely happy throughout the entire meal.
We have eaten here many times over the years but this Thanksgiving was a disappointment.Despite reservations we waited about 20 minutes. The manager slurred around stopping at select tables but not ours. The $35 wine pairing was an overpriced disappointment. $75 was overpriced for a turkey dinner with a small am't of stuffing and veggies as well.
A wondeful experience! Our server was the very knowledgeable and friendly, Patrick. He informed us that we were early enough for the early bird special, so we all took his suggestions and had a lovely meal! Also we had a very nice visit with Jeff the manager! Thank you Roxy crew for an amazing night!
$90 plus New York Wagyu steak was tough Should've sent it back. The rest of the meal was fine Staff was excellent
Great time and great food. The steaks were tender and juicy. Lamb chops good. Wine and drinks great selection.
All staff was great! From the moment we checked in till we left. We had a special called the date night, $135.00 per person We were celebrating our 28th anniversary, I must say it was worth every dollar, potions were big, and delicious! I highly recommend.

Very nice atmosphere. Service was excellent! Especially the table side drink and wine service. A little bit on the expensive side, but a very nice evening for our party of 5.

Roxy is always great. We've been coming here for over 25 years. But we missed Albert. He was sick.
Roxy is my favorite restaurant in Reno. The food in the service is always amazing and it feels like Home there.
